The jeans appear to be as tough as other jeans I've gotten. However, and this is not S&S's fault as much as it seems to be the motorcycle apparel industry's fault: sizing. Do not be surprised if you need to return them. But I feel once you find the proper size for you, you will probably be happy.I ordered a 36 x 30. I received the jeans in a plastic package with a 36 x 30 sticker on it. The jeans inside were 36 x 32 on the tag. I tried them on anyway and discovered the 36 waist is tight. Order the waist one size up. I dont yet know about the length because I'm waiting for funds (i did get refunded but bills came up) to order 38 x 30's. Hoping when I get those I'll have a 5 star review.

I think these jeans are great, they look good, fit well in the waist, and seem to be constructed of high quality. The only problem that I have is that they are a bit longer than the advertised 30" inseam; which in turn causes the knee armor to cover more of my shin than my actual knee.
