great value kit, works great but you DO NEED to be familiar with Arduino IDE and it's board and Library manager.putting the kit together is easy, getting the software sorted is not so easy for the beginner.

It is an offshoot of the original weather station project and requires some copy / paste and code tinkering (all explained in instructions). In the end very simple to put together and works well. If you try to buy all parts on Amazon you'll pay more. Nice set of parts for future projects too.

Had to look up the manual on their website, and I don't have a soldering iron at home to attach the sensor, though I managed to stabilise it and make it work without being soldered, happy with the product, had it assembled in less than an hour and then first software version in 2-3 hours, fun little project that works well, can connect to the internet as advertised so very happy with it. Arrived fast

Unfortunately a sensor failure caused problems. Seller very good and issued full credit.

Well after waiting 2 days for some customer support I have given up. You get a bag of parts at a slight discount and a prompt towards some public domain code, but the hardware in the code is different to what is in the bag and it simply will never compile and run. Then starts a chase around the internet trying to find libraries and code to make it run. Perhaps I am not experienced enough but frankly, this looks like the vendor does not care. It would only have taken a little bit of effort for this to have been a great little project.

Ask the seller for the Arduino code, he usually responds within a day.

Numerous attempts to download instructions failed not worth anything without instructions suggest potential customers download instructions before purchase.

Ich sammel mal soweit alle bekannten Fehler und Mängel weiter unten im Text.Das Set kommt in einer praktischen Plastikbox, die Einzelteile sind verpackt und gut geschützt. Entsprechend hab es keine Beschädigungen. Der Inhalt ist wie angegeben und wie auf den Fotos zu sehen. Die Sensoren müssen gelötet werden.WICHTIG: Das Tutorial als pdf gibt es online auf der Seite des Händlers oder auf Nachfrage. Das funktionierte problemlos aber ein QR-Code wäre vielleicht gut.Die Einrichtung ist sehr einfach und gut geschrieben, lediglich die Bilder sind ungenau. Außerdem heißt der Anschluss für die Stromversorgung der Sensoren VIN, in der Beschreibung steht aber VCC. Der Code selber muss modifiziert werden.1. Die Zeitzone (recht weit oben, man findet es indem man "TZ" sucht) muss umgestellt werden.2. Die °C Angabe wird falsch angezeigt. Dafür am Besten nach "¡ã" suchen und durch " ° " ersetzen.Insgesamt ist das Set sehr gut verarbeitet. Von Päckchen öffnen bis zum Hochladen des Codes benötigt es vielleicht 40 min. Der Quelltext ist gut kommentiert und lässt sich mit Kenntnissen verändern und anpassen. Alles zusammen ist das Set aber sehr komplex und sollte nicht das erste Projekt sein.

Bonne entrée en matière pour s'initier à l'ESP8266, avec écran OLED et capteur BME280.Document de mise en place très bien réalisé, seul le schéma de montage mériterait d'être plus détaillé (il n'y a que 2 photos du montage).

Alle Bauteile sind hochwertig und kommen in einer praktischen Aufbewahrungsbox. Leider keine Anleitung dabei.

Bon petit kit meteo ESP8266 basé sur le code de ThingPulseQuelques erreurs dans la doc (les photos du cablage ne correspondent pas au kit reçu).Pour moi, le point négatif est que le BME280 n'a pas ses pins soudées. C'est dommage, car les deux autres composants sont prets à l'emploi.
