Sig Sauer SOR50000 Romeo5 1x20mm Compact 2 Moa Red Dot Sight, Black

For the price, these work amazing. I've bought and installed three (3) of these on my guns. Both rifles (with the riser mount) and pistols (with the low mount). They hold zero very well and the dot is a nice size for close and medium ranges.

This is legit. Packaging was brand new. Was able to register it with Sig Sauer. Plan to buy another.

Solid, reliable optic. Dropped the rifle optic down on concrete a couple of times, had it submerged in water at brutality matches--no damage, solid as a rock.

Arrived very quick. Easy to install and holds my zero very well. Everything i need for a fraction of other brands cost

First off the build of this optic is Good. It will hold zero while it stays mounted. The dot is very clear and the battery life and movement =on is awesome. More optics should have it. I don't know much about the durability of the optic, mine was never tested for that, though I've seen good reviews. The one issue with any optics like these is gonna be QD. You simply can't trust this optic to be removed and placed back on a rifle and it hold zero. While it's mounted, it will hold great. But if at any point you take it off and put it back on, the zero will be off. In most cases this won't be an issue for most people. For what it is, it's phenomenal. For any plinking guns, I highly recommend. But for any defense weapon, active shooter response, or a tyanny deterrent, I will always recommend a aimpoint or Eotech. Simply because no matter what, they work.Overall, I think sig hit a Homer.

Great optic, you get a solid red dot at a solid price point. I'm running some Aimpoint now, but this optic does it too, happy I started here, and my back up inherited this one. Holding zero great, height co-witnesses with my Magpul flip ups

Ok so I'm only writing this review to clear up some misconceptions by some of the other reviews on this item, first off this red dot is 100% coming from Sig themselves however in order for it to have one day shipping and what not Sig has sent a bunch of them to Amazon to sit in there warehouse for faster shipping and that is why they come in a plan looking brown box instead of the original fancy box you see in stores, also there are two versions of this red dot offered by Sig, 1 version has a high and a low mount included, and the 2nd version (this one here) only comes with the high mount (you can check Sig's website if you dont believe me) so dont expect the low mount with your order if you do buy this. Next is the whole dead on arrival business, I'll be honest when I got mine in the post today and opened it up I thought the some thing had happened to me as it would not turn on after I put the battery in, however after a few minutes of sadness I found all I had to do was turn the brightness up (press the + button on top of the red dot) and the site came right on not problem, in the same vane the + button act's as the power button, you hold it to turn off and on the red dot. So with all of that said this is really a great budget red dot, it looks great and has a nice bright green dot and I would highly recommend it, cant wait to take it to the range and put it through some tests.
