These have been mounted on the four walls that go around my deck patio. They provide very minimal light, they basically light up the area under them, so they are great for lighting a path without being an intrusive light (for, say, your neighbors). They use rechargeable AA batteries, which we all have lying around, so that seems simple enough.I did notice the other night that the lights did not go on. I think it may be due to the very cloudy/dark/rainy day that we had, so that's not ideal? However, these are no wiring, no fuss, easy to install, easy to replace battery, so if you do not absolutely have to light up a walkway, then these will work for you.

These work well as artistic lighting on a fence. The color is nice and they have a nice spread down the posts. They get full sun all day where I installed them and the batteries seem to last well into the night. We will see if that is sustained through the longer nights in the winter. The issue with these is build quality. In the four pack, two were in great shape. The other two, however, had consistency issues with the case and solar panel that prevented them from sitting level in the case. This isn't a huge issue, unless looking at them closely.

Not bright, more for effect than function, but we found a place for them over our raised vegetable boxes and along a fence, neither locations anywhere near pathway we walk at night. Good for looking out at, not good for security/safety lighting.

The cover pops off, so they are easy to screw in place.I didn't want a bright harsh light. These have a soft yellow light. The perfect amount of light to accent my flowerbeds.

Lights were easy to install and are super effective. I would prefer them to be bright white vs warm white. But they work great. These were put along each side of the house on the fence posts. Installation was super easy. Perfect to be able to see for emergencies.

Purchased based on looks alone. Gave it 1 star for motion detection as I have not noticed any option for motion detection and they do not come on with any sort of motion detection prompt. They seem like standard solar lights to me. They come on at night. They are made of metal (not a plastic casing like many other lights) so I know they will hold up well and can be spray painted if I ever want to refresh the look (if they end up fading). Overall I have them in multiple spots around my garden, on a pergola and on my front entry steps. Would purchase more for our home. A nice, warm light which is hard to find these days. Gives a nice glow that doesn't look cheap

These are a very nice quality and the exact size to add to my gazebo posts. They were nicely packaged with hardware for mounting, more thorough instructions than I've ever seenfor solar lights, and a 180 day warranty, batteries included. They gave off a nice amount of light immediately after removing the plastic strip right out of the box. Not wanting to drill holes in the posts, I used double sticky backed hangers. They attached firmly and only time will tell if they withstand the elements. They add a touch of elegance to the outdoor space but not a great amount of illumination with only 4 so I may get another set! You can see from the photo they look like they came with the structure and not out of place at all.

Super easy to install; clear operating instructions. These are not motion detector lights - this is a feature I did not want for my purpose. The lights are bright but with the hood it dims the light but also focuses the beam down - which is another reason I chose this set. One of the four in the box had a small issue with staying on but the seller took immediate action to remedy the fault, now all four post lights work as described and look great!

The media could not be loaded.  Light quality is nothing super bright but decent. Warm white is very nice and natural without motion detection and super easy to install . These are the perfect amount of light in low lit areas like pathways, fences etc. Ordered 8 and reordered 4 more. Hopefully they last! Probably would remove during the winter but construction of base is sturdy plastic. Very happy with this product! Thanks

Not what I expected the batteries don't last very long after the sun goes down. To get a full charge I have to take the lights that don't get much sun and put them on a table or somewhere they can get a good charge.I would not reccomend these light unless they get installed where thay can get a good amount of Sunshine

If they even turn on, they’re really dim and none of them last the same length of time. Some are brighter than others, some don’t turn on at night, and they’ll last anywhere from 30 minutes-2 hours and just dim until they’re off. They provide zero light, it’s more of a pointless feature for a fence that lasts a short period of time. I wouldn’t waste my money.

Great item. Fits neatly on the deck and lights the way clearly. Not too bright but just enough.
