I just installed my safe and took my time to order some extra bits to make life easier. Get yourself some 10mm long M4 bolts so you can fix the shelf in place (it already has holes drilled for you). I didn't use the fixings provided either. I bought some penny washers and screwed through the bottom into the wood floor and then instead of using the bolts in the wall I bought some 10mm (M10) threaded rod which I cut to 15cm lengths and Fischer FIS VL vinylester mortar as my new build external walls are aerated block which is quite soft. This is designed for aerated brick and has given me a solid fixing into the wall but would not be suitable to hand the safe from the wall without support from underneath. You drill a 12mm hole and make sure you clean all the dust out by repeatedly using a blower and brush/pipe cleaner, then fill the hole 70% full with the FIS VL and insert the rod as you put it in rotate it as if screwing it into the wall. A couple of hours later it is rock solid and secure the safe to the wall with some M10 nuts (I used ones with a flat flange so no washer needed) and a bit of loctite threadlocker so it doesn't work it's way lose with vibration.The safe seems well built and sturdy - no flex in the door like other models I have seen reviewed and comes with a level of certified secure. Only had it a few days so not sure of long term reliability. I do think the bolts for the shelf should be included but only cost a couple of quid. As others have said you have to be square on to see the screen but I can live with that. It really should ship from amazon in a plain box though.Would I buy one again? So far yes, as long as I get many years of service from this one.

The property was broken into, and the intruder attempted to stomp the safe off its wall bracket but failed. They destroyed the keypad on the front of the safe and tried to wedge it open. Although the door was slightly bent, they were unable to gain access. All other doors, including the security doors, were breached, but the safe remained secure. Given enough time, they might have succeeded, but not without a tremendous amount of effort. Unfortunately, when I attempted to use the key that came with it, the internal mechanism was damaged—possibly misaligned—preventing it from opening. In the end, I had to cut through the safe itself to retrieve its contents. I can confidently say that this is an incredibly robust little safe.

bought two of these and both of them the code doesnt not open the safe now. Have to use the key. very poor.

Safe is really good at the right price.

It is happening quite regularly that we have to return items because they are damaged or appear to have been used before. Amazon’s service in this regard is declining drastically.
