SamsoniteOmni PC Hardside Expandable Luggage with Spinner Wheels, Black, Checked-Medium 24-Inch

We really like Samsonite and have only used their luggage for years. So when we needed more suitcases for our upcoming trip, we chose the Samsonite Omni PC set without thinking twice.The 28-inch spinner is big but still light, which makes it easy to move around. Some people said it might be too big for international flights, but we flew with Japan Airlines and EVA Air and had no issues. The carry-on is also great and has a TSA lock, which makes us feel safer when we travel.One thing to be aware of — the suitcases are not waterproof. On a rainy day, some of our things inside got a little wet. But other than that, everything worked really well. The wheels roll smoothly, the shell feels strong, and the set looks nice. We’re happy with our choice!

This carry-on is truly 22” tall including the wheels. I love how the lock is built into the bag so I don’t need an external lock. It’s really easy to maneuver because the wheels are so smooth that I feel it’s almost gliding on the ground. I have no complaints with this carry-on. The only thing I wish it had were more zip compartments inside.

Flown with 3x still not damaged besides scratches on the outer. I still use this for all vacations!

The Teal 24" Checked Luggage is a great size and a beautiful color. The color is deep and rich looking. I love that this luggage has zipper locks. I have a 20" Samsonite carry on that I got years ago that is in great condition that is very similar style but find it a bit small for a week or more. Will still use the old one for mini vacations but we love to travel and packing the toiletries bag, hair dryer and odd and sod in the small bag was challenging to say the least. The 24" is a perfect size unexpanded and when expanded I won't have to worry about bring home souvenirs for the grandkids on the return trip. Typical Samsonite, the 360 spinner wheels make maneuvering the bag a breeze. Great price for a great bag! Very Happy with this purchase.

It is perfect for my trip coming up. Roomy and easy to roll.

This carry-on has a surprisingly large amount of room for its compact size and can even fit everything needed for a weekend getaway (minus food of course). It rolls really well and is quite durable, making it great for use in the airport. It also has a small pouch inside as well as a larger mesh compartment in the top part that's sturdy and works really well. I highly recommend this carry-on to any airplane traveler.

This is a very good quality suitcase. It was the first hard case that I've bought. For the most part, I am satisfied, but I wish I had known a couple more bits of information before I purchased. If you are also buying YOUR FIRST HARD CASE, read these IMPORTANT TIPS. TIP #1: This case closes with a ZIPPER ONLY. It does not have a latch. Zipper-only hard cases are more vulnerable to malfunction because zippers can break or split apart with stress or excessive wear. If the zipper splits on this case, you do will have a latch as a backup method to keep your case closed and you may find your self in a predicament when you need to check your broken-zippered bag at the airport. Therefore, if you buy this case, be sure to also buy luggage straps. Luggage straps are extremely effective to keep your case closed and will help prevent excessive stress or damage to the zipper. When buying luggage straps, write your initials on each strap with a permanent marker. This will not only help identify your bag in a busy airport, but also make the straps less desirable for thieves. TIP #2: I bought the (very large) 28-inch version of this case because I wanted to have plenty of space to pack for long international trips. In hindsight, I wish I had bought a size or two smaller because filling up a case this big with normal items like clothing, shoes, and toiletries will almost always put you over the airline weight limits (and be very heavy to lift). The case is very light, but I can only fill it up about 75% to avoid paying the "excess weight" fees. With the case being 25% empty, I have lots of open space in the bag and my belongings bounce around inside. When I arrive at my destination, I often find my loosely packed belongings out of order and disheveled. For my next suitcase, I will buy something a tad bit smaller so I can fill 90% or 100%. When filled to 90-100%, my belongings would be tightly packed and more secure inside.
