The color is irrelevant as I’ll paint everything in the end, I’m not sure if the grey color would match galvanized pipe or not but either way it accepts NPT threads perfectly. Perfect for all types of creative pipe projects.

Used these to create shelving in my closet. Great aesthetic and functional design. Durable, and great value for the money.

Seems to be the same quality of what you’d buy at the hardware store. For some reason this specific piece is really hard to come buy at your local hardware store, definitely a life saver finding it here. And I’d say it’s reasonably priced for 2 pieces compared to competitors pricing for just one.

I'm building a computer desk and am using these for part of the legs. They are exactly what I'll need and the big box store, where I got the rest of the fittings, didn't sell this type of 4 way fitting. The description is true: they aren't oily, unlike the pieces I got at Home Depot (though, they are oily because they are designed for liquid which would rust the pipe if it weren't coated). The paint seems durable, I'm going to have to repaint since the other pieces from HD aren't painted though.

I was building some shelves and the design I put together needed these angled 4-way fittings. The big-box hardware stores didn't have what I needed so I bought these. These worked perfectly and fit the 3/4 pipes I had been using. No issues here. Will buy again if I need them for another project.

You will notice on most all black iron pipe threads, there is a taper near the end of the threads. It is at this taper that the pipe and fitting tighten up, making for a tight seal. On these particular fittings, two of the four threaded holes seem to be tapped completely through without the taper. As such, the pipe you will be inserting into said holes will not be tight, but sloppy. If I wasnt in a rush for this job, I would return. I had to build up the thread diameter of the pipe with tape to make for a snug fit into these fittings.
