Kiki Health Organic Turmeric Powder, 150 gm

This is a really good quality organic tumeric.The colour is a dark deep rich yellow, and it has a gorgeous aroma.Tumeric is well known for its anti-inflammatory properties and this Kiki Health product shows that.I mix this with my mushroom powder cinnamon and plant milk with a little maple syrup for a lovely warming drink which is delicious.

I've been taking these for little over a month, and although I haven't noticed any dramatic changes in how I feel, I'm confident that it's doing something good for my health. Tumeric, especially with its potent curcumin content, is widely known for its anti-inflammatory and antioxidant benefits, so I'm excited to see the long-term effects.I trust KIKI Health as a brand, and I've tried many of their other products. This is good quality turmeric, and comes with a long use by date. If you use a lot of turmeric, it is much more economical to buy it this way, than in small amounts from the supermarket. The packaging is good and robust, and it is easy to access the turmeric. It has a good flavour and smells fresh and strong.

I compared this turmeric with one that I bought locally in a spice jar. The spice jar originally contained 31g of turmeric, and likely cost around £1.50, but isn't organic! The KIKI Health turmeric is 150g in a large brown glass jar, currently priced just below £8, so that's quite reasonable in my opinion.The colour of the KIKI turmeric powder is darker than the locally purchased spice. Both taste pretty similar, but the KIKI turmeric powder may have a little more texture to it.According to the information on the bottle, there are many varieties of turmeric, and this one has been specially selected for high Curcuma content and full spectrum of active compounds. So it's almost certainly healthier than the turmeric currently in my spice rack. Worth a try!
