I have tried other IPAs too but this one has been the best for my needs. I have been using it for years now. It doesn't leave a streak behind when cleaned. Looks pure since none of my electronics are damaged yet. No water is left behind and evaporates quickly too. Recommended!

I bought this one in the middle of the nation-wide lockdown, to wipe clean things like my mobile phone, wallet, keys, etc. whenever I came back home from outside. It has a very powerful smell, which I hope means it is fairly concentrated, but instead of the advertised value of "99% pure", I would say it is 90% max. 99% + pure alcohol is created in laboratories, not sold in the market for such low prices. Another thing I noted is that after wiping my mobile phone, upon drying up, there are a lot of residue marks left behind - goes to show the impurities in this bottle of Iso-propyl alcohol. Overall, for its price, it is a good deal if you are looking for alcohol for use as a disinfectant.

I have been buying this product since a long time, and it has never disappointed me. Firstly it's a pack of 4 , hence value for money, and quality is good , it blends well with the inks and I also use it as a spray on my resin peices.

Ordered this to clean the printhead of Barcode printers.Initially we used to use surgical spirit for cleaning the print head. But that is around 80% spirit. There is some moisture in it, once the alcohol evaporates, it leaves behind some moisture on the print head, and repeated use of the same damaged our print head, beyond repair.After consulting the engineers at TSC, the recommened me this. and we saw the result in 1st use, the print head is clean as new.Our advice dont use surgical spirit for other purposes, use only this.

Product: 2 Bottles of Niks IPA "99.9%"Verification: I opened the package in front of someone who uses IPA regularly. They confirmed it to be IPA by the smell. To me, it smelled similar to nail-polish remover (which probably use the same thing).Packaging: Unless you are planning on using all of it or diluting it(which would be a waste), I suggest you to look for a container rated for chemicals like this. The current packaging was good enough for Amazon, but won't keep it in for months to come. Perhaps also keep a fire extinguisher nearby, just in case.Usage: I skipped the flame test and directly poured ~20ml of it into the un-openable laptop-fan. It evaporated pretty easily with some hot air and the fan didn't give any problem when running after ~15 minutes. So I would consider it high purity as I didn't need to use compressed air for it.Extra: Even though hardly any of the IPA had leaked (I saw an air bubble which would have been a maximum of 2ml), it was enough to fully fade away the ink from the Amazon sticker inside the packaging and removed a bit of the ink of its own packaging too.

Keeping in mind that I have NO medical training whatsoever: This alcohol is 100% isopropyl alcohol. Grocery store isopropyl usually comes as 70% isopropyl. So, if you were going to use for disinfection, I'd at least dilute it to 70%. Also, keep in mind that alcohol removes water (dehydrates), so even a 70% solution will dry-out your hands. I'd proceed with caution when using this alcohol for hand disinfection; you should ask a pharmacist or doctor about your plans. DO NOT BUY unless you're going to use it specifically for TECHNICAL USE, like with gloves & goggles on & stuff.
