Vivid colours produced by don't stay unless you have professional steam setting gear
The dye produces a wonderful, brilliant, true colour on the silks I am dying. Once dried (approximately 24 hours to set), they MUST be steam set to have the brilliant colours stay in the material, and even using a home steamer (as directed on their website) the colours fade. If you are ABLE to do a second run of the dye and setting process, these do produce lovely colours, though even once set properly, they are not the same as they are when they are simply dried.SO, overall they do work, but they are NOT simple or fast to use unless you are painting something that will never be washed.
