Works way better than using vinegar
I've owned an OXO 8 cup filter coffee maker for years and it makes great coffee. I dutifully cleaned it with vinegar every time the light came on and thought I was doing it right. Over the last year I noticed that it gurgled constantly through the cycle and was taking way longer. I did another vinegar clean and was horrified to see large amounts of white scale coming up into the empty filter basket. The vinegar wasn't doing the job. I ordered this stuff and ran a clean cycle with half a bottle like called for. The coffee maker gurgled way less but still a bit. I did a 2nd clean cycle and now it doesn't gurgle until it runs out of water. Plus the brew cycle is faster. I wish I had discovered this earlier! No more vinegar for me!!

Works well but I'd run a second cycle of just water to be sure after using
Bought this to descale my coffee machine and they have always worked well for me as maintenance items. I like that each bottle can be used for 2 uses and they are cheap so they do the job. I can't say for sure how good the cleaning power is since I do this regularly but I can say that the output is a little cloudy every time I use it so it must be doing something. I run this through once and then again with just water to clear out any left over taste. That is the only downside to this is that there is some leftover taste if you don't run a second cycle through with just water. But after that first cup of coffee after descaling I don't notice any weird taste. The coffee machine I use is Tchibo single service grinding one. Love that thing to death and was worth every penny.

Engineer's Ruling: Perfectly safe and effective for Keuring, Nespresso, and Phillips LatteGo but...
We first purchased Impresa Descaling Solution nearly 5 years ago, when our Keurig began having problems with dispensing. We hadn't descaled the machine at all for over one year but it was back up and running great after using the Impresa Solution. I followed the directions and noticed no aftertaste to the first cup of hot water out of the machine.A little later, we decided to upgrade to a Nespresso. Lesson learned from the Keurig was to not wait, so again the Impresa solution was used to descale and worked great with no aftertaste.Again we upgraded, this time to a Phillips LatteGo 3200. The descale light comes on, so I reached for the Impresa solution but noticed that Phillips is not included in the named brands. As others here have also noticed, there ingredients are not listed. Hmmm...After reviewing the Phillips owners manual, the section on Descaling specifically states, "Please use Philips descaler only. Under no circumstances should you use a descaler based on sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid, sulfamic or acetic acid (vinegar) as this may damage the water circuit in your machine and not dissolve the limescale properly. Not using the Philips descaler will void your warranty."As an Engineer who began his career designing plastic and rubber parts, I knew where to find the manufacturer's ingredients. I've included a snip here of the main ingredients and their concentrations. (For those wondering what the rest of the bottle contains, it;s di-hydrogen monoxide aka water.)Now we have problem because the two main ingredients listed in Impresa's formula will specifically void your Phillips warranty. So if you're withing the 12 month warranty period and are prone to descaling your machine it could be an issue. But also highly unlikely. The only parts likely to be affected in the machine are the o-ring seals. After looking at them and doing some research, it's pretty clear they are a type of rubber called fluoroelastomer (FKM for short.) This type of rubber is good in high temps, durable, resistant to acids (including both used in the Impresa Solution), and it has a food grade version that is FDA approved. The o-rings could also be a type of silicone but that's less likely because they easily tear and attract dirt/debris. We've had our machine for 3+ year and as often as we use it, I'd expect to see small tears or cracks if they were silicone but there are none. If anyone has a spare Phillips o-ring, please stick a lighter under it and let me know the results: Silicone will burn and smell sweet. FKM will not easily burn and will stink if/when it does.So overall, I have no concerns about using Impresa Descaling Solution in my Phillips as far as impacting or damaging the machine. As far as food safety, the first ingredient is 7-10% Citric Acid. This one of the most common food additives in the entire world, and you will be hard pressed to go through your entire household and not find it as an ingredient. You will notice that it's classified as 2A which means it will irritate your eyes, the same as vinegar, lemon juice, or any other acetic acids. So it's perfectly safe unless ... you put it in your eyes. So don't do that. It will hurt. The second ingredient is 3-7% Sulfamic Acid. Sounds ominous, doesn't it? But it isn't. SA is used all over in food production for cleaning off equipment, from beer brewing and the dairy industry to ... you guessed it ... coffee and espresso shops. This is the main ingredient for removing limescale. It's rated as Category 2 Compound for both Eyes and Skin so again, don't pour it in your eyes AND don't use it as a moisturizer on your skin. It will hurt. Once it starts to hurt you're going to wash it off. And then you'll be OK.TL/DR: Great descaler for Keurigs, Nespressos, and Phillips machines. The ingredients are well-known and highly safe for use.

Works great and easy to use!
This stuff works! My coffee maker was sounding different and then just stopped working all together. I did the treatment and thank goodness it works perfectly as new! It cleaned up all the build up which can destroy appliances. I can’t live without my coffee!

Might be the machine itself, but this didn’t work for me unfortunately
Well, I’ve had my Keurig for a little over a year, and I kept waiting and waiting and waiting to descale it. The light kept coming on, so I broke down and finally ordered this off Amazon. Not sure if it was my Keurig that went kaput or the descaling solution messed it up, etc. Unfortunately, my Keurig died when I tried to use this. Again, it might be my machine, but I was pretty disappointed that right after I tried to use this descaling solution it doesn’t work anymore. ☹️

Works to decalcify coffee/espresso machines.
Great descaler for espresso/coffee machines. It's very simple to use and it's kept my machines running problem-free for years. With most machines, you just pour in half the bottle and fill the rest of the way up with water and start the decalcify mode.
