Works just like it's supposed to!!

As a network installer I use these for in-ceiling drops, for access points, IP Cameras, or even extensions from the network room to the telco room, etc. They work great, hold any keystone I've put in them, including HDMI, wide 90 degree, thin 180 degree, rca, bnc. etc. These are great biscuits, I keep buying them because I keep running out.

These are designed and work as intended

This was just what I was looking for. I am a Christmas lights enthusiast, i.e. I do light shows synchronized to music. The data that drives my show runs over ethernet cables. I needed a way to cleanup my wires and also label what was what. I found these and it was a God send. These, along with a plastic box I also found on Amazon, allows me to hide my cat 5 connections as well as keep them out of the elements. I highly recommend these.

I used these for RJ45, RG6, and LC fiber optic. I really like the fact that the front comes out of the enclosure so you can insert the keystone jack and then simply slide it back in. This is so much better than other products which don't have the ability.I've deducted one star from the overall rating though because of one issue that wasn't thought out. The top rear cover of the enclosure is flawed -- at least for fiber optic patch cables. The cover has a rectangular opening to accommodate the bottom of the case and the bottom of the case come up and has a semicircle opening. The top has a rectangular opening semi circle at the top to form an elongated oval when shut to the bottom. The opening is not wide enough to fit a duplex fiber cable in when closed. Luckily though the plastic is not prone to cracking and is easy to work with so was able to take a hacksaw to it and modify the hole to fit while still maintaining the original appearance.Aside from that one issue, I love these things. They seem to stick well and obviously they could be screwed down if that wasn't the case. They're much easier to work with than low voltage 1 gang boxes and their killer feature to me is that the fittings in front for the keystone are removable so you can attach to the keystone, work with your cabling, and then easily slide it into the enclosure. I still shutter when I think of the issues I had with RG6 keystones popping out of faceplates or trying to get cables properly attached without that happening. I'd definitely buy these again even if they required some modification for my use.

I have used a lot of these type of boxes before, and these are hands down my favorites. I love the way they are built. Absolutely worth it.

Good option for easily adding Ethernet ports where needed when a wall box isn’t an option.
