I’ve been using the CeraVe Hydrating Facial Cleanser for a few weeks now, and I’m genuinely impressed. It’s incredibly gentle, doesn’t strip my skin, and leaves my face feeling clean and hydrated. This cleanser is like a big drink of water for my face 🥤 It cleans without that tight squeaky “desert face” feeling and leaves my skin soft calm and happy. The creamy texture feels gentle but still gets the day off, sunscreen makeup and my questionable life choices 😅It’s fragrance free (my sensitive skin says thank you 🙏) and the giant pump bottle lasts forever. It doesn’t try to be fancy or smell like a tropical vacation but it quietly does its job like the reliable best friend in every romcom 💖Is it exciting? No. Is it the unsung hero of my skincare routine? Absolutely. For the price it’s a no-brainer to keep my skin barrier hydrated and drama free. Honestly this bottle might outlast my next skincare obsession which is saying something. And when I forget to moisturize (oops) this still leaves me feeling like I tried.

Great. Does what it is supposed to, makes my face feel clean, soft, hydrated and does not bother my sensitive skin. No heavy fragrance and does not sting my eyes.

Works amazingly, unlike most non-whipped cleansers, you ONLY need one pump. More than that is a waste of product. Its easy to use, just rinse your face, apply, let sit for a minute or 2, and then rinse off. It does moisturize your skin but be sure to add a moisturizer afterward. I recommend beef tallow after you put on a lotion. It has no smell, so thats also a + if your combining it with a moisturizer that has a fragrance.

My initial opinion is that it’s a good product. It’s only been in my shower for a week but seems to be cleansing well and not drying out my face.

Great cleanser/moisturizer. This is a daily use in my skincare routine and it leaves my skin feeling clean, moisturized, and protected. Onebottle will last me a few months. Can’t recommend this one enough even with the questionable color of the cleanser lol.

Love this cleanser! Super gentle and perfect for dry or sensitive skin. It doesn’t foam much, but it leaves my skin feeling clean and soft without that tight, dry feeling. It’s fragrance-free, which is a big plus for me. Definitely 5 stars—I've repurchased it several times.

I have used this for years. I have tried other cleansers, but I always come back to this one. It is very gentle and hydrating. The best my skin has ever looked is using this morning and night and adapalene gel at night as well. I also use cerave’s moisturizing cream religiously at night. For context, I have sensitive acne-prone combo skin. I do not wear makeup, so the cleanser is effective enough to remove my sunscreen. However, if you do wear makeup, I would suggest a more intense cleanser, especially if you are acne-prone. If I wear makeup I use a cleanser with a gentle 1%bha in it.
