This adapter worked for my 5V Ambient WS2000 weather station display. The original power adapter was only putting out 4.8V and the display wouldn’t power up. This adjustable power supply did the trick, putting out about 5.1V at the 5V setting.The instructions are ok until it gets to selecting the tip. I know from the WS2000 spec what inner/outer diameters I need, but these tips are only labeled with letters and the instructions just say find one that fits. No table giving actual diameter values for the letter labels. If that simple consideration had been there I’d give it 5 stars.Instead extra fumbling around and eyeballing tips, but eventually got it.

Purchased two for use in a commercial environment, and man, are they handy! I test a lot of different used electronics at my job, and this thing is a life saver for anything that requires less than 12v. The pinch clamp head is great for smaller PLCs and similar devices that don't take standard power inputs. One other neat thing about it is that the primary head is compatible with most other universal barrel jack style tips I have that come from other universal kits.

As soon as I get it. I’m happy thinking I finally got the right charger! I find the right connector put it in the port, turn the key to the correct voltage and then… the light is flickering on and off!!!! It’s as cheap as the cord on the adaptor I recommend not getting this charger especially is you have a Chicbuy laptop! And they are both created from Shenzen!!!

For the price, I was worried that I'd get something cheaply made with loose and fiddly connectors, but that's not what I got. The connectors fit very tightly - they're actually kind of difficult to put on or take off - so you don't have to worry about them coming undone. The same is true of the voltage dial - it's very "clicky" and takes a bit of force to turn, and has to be turned with a screwdriver or the included key, plus it's on the pronged side of the plug, just to ensure there's no way you could accidentally slip the key in and turn the dial while the plug is in use. The polarity is not reversible, but that's clearly noted in the product's description, and I don't need it to be for my purposes anyway. If I have one small gripe with this product, it's that the connectors are not labeled, and some of them look quite similar to one another, so it takes a bit of trial and error to figure out which plug you need.

Lost my adapter to a hedge cutter. Saw this on Amazon and noted the selection of charging heads. Purchased it hoping for great results but it would not charge my hedge cutters. Maybe you'll have better luck than me.

This charger is simple to use. You can easily change between a variety of heads to meet different charging needs in terms of the size of the input. You can also adjust the volts to the appropriate setting to use a wide array of small appliances. It is exactly what we needed when our baby monitor’s charger broke. Perfect for our use!
