I love this as a gluten-free alternative side dish. The cheesy flavor is good, texture is good, and 90 second cook time is amazing.

I adore risotto so thought this may be decent and I can’t eat it, it’s so bad. Huge waste of money and just plain nasty.

Super easy to prepare, very yummy product!

Instructions says to tear a two inch vent on both sides of the package and then somehow pour a half a cup of water into that package. So the only thing I can think of is to use a water bottle and eyeball a half a cup of water. I’ve made two packages and both of them came out soupy and crunchy. I’m going to throw the remainder of these packages in the garbage, I don’t think there’s anybody that hungry to eat these

I live in an assisted living facility and I need food I can use in a microwave. Perfect for that.

My husband, as the official flavored rice fanatic of the family, was appointed to test this new Uncle Ben's product. He was doubtful of the concept at first, suspecting the the microwave wouldn't do a very good job at imitating risotto, even though the flavor itself sounded appealing.As it turns out, he was partly right; his one major complaint was that the rice ended up unevenly cooked. This is likely because the consumer has to add water before heating—an unusual step for microwavable, pre-cooked rice. Because of this, the water tends to pool at the bottom of the bag, resulting in a soggy lower level of rice and a somewhat dry upper layer.Apart from this textural problem, he did like the flavor of the product. I suggested that next time we should stir the rice together with the water, and possibly do that a second time part way through cooking. Overall, a good product, but the technique requires a level of finesse that some users may find cumbersome in a prepared food product.

Didn’t like it. I don’t really like instant rice. Thought I’d give it a go. NOPE

these will be a healthier alternative to my terrible diet!
