I had to get another set. The first set I bought were vintage and works well, but someone stolen 'em and sold my stuff, so these replaced those ones. First off, when I got it out of the original packaging, the knob came off and the mid section has cardboard tube which makes it swivel. Kind-of disappointed, but I love these scissors! They work sticky at first, but the design with larger spacing works loosely to cut. I tried all the scissors and they are sticky to cut with and makes some dents in the paper, but overall they have cooler design than my first set of edging scissors. A day later, I saw they sell an 18 edging scissors, but these twelve are plenty to work with, and the design on some are very cool! Like all edging scissors, you do have to cut slowly to get the perfect edging to come out. The very first time I used edging scissors, it didn't cut, so have to cut slowly. I gave it five stars bc it came with it's own caddy and surprisingly swivels. It didn't say it in it's description. It's nice. I'm having a gathering of relatives over, to do some crafting. These will come in handy for them!

I'd actually give these a 4.5 and here is why. I was looking to replace one of my favorite Fiskar edge trimmers. I found the prices a bit high for the replacement so I searched Amazon to see what else was out there. Boy am I glad I did. First off, this set is a wonderful value. This set has 12 scissor edgers. Originally I thought that the oak lazy susan storage rack was a frivolous, but I was wrong. It is really sturdy and my edgers are next to my drafting table when I need them.One thing I noticed is that the scissors are a little tight when you first use them. I recommend cutting paper several times with the edger of choice before using it for your final project. I found heavy pap such as watercolor was best, but I'm sure that repeated cutting of double folded printer paper will do the same thing. Also there was some oil on the blades which is used to protect the blades will in inventory. A quick wipe with a paper towel remedies this easily.The hardest thing with this set is choosing what new edger you want to use on a current project. This is a good problem. I don't know how long these edgers will hold their sharpness so I will update this review if I get unfavorable results as the scissors age.

My kid loves this set and I love that the scissors have a home. I love the lazy Susan spin.

My daughter's and I tested each of these when they arrived. They all seemed to work well. They seem a little bigger and studier than some decorative scissors. I mostly bought them for the good reviews, but the scissor holder was a nice bonus.

I ordered this set after seeing it as part of a drool-worthy "art cart" for children. While putting together my own children's art cart, I had to order this set. My kids love to cut with scissors. This set does not disappoint. The wooden carousel is sturdy, and each of the scissors works perfectly. They are definitely a little stiff to use, not great for beginning scissor users. They are the perfect mix of style and substance. I highly recommend! I plan on ordering some for gifts for other crafters and budding artists.

Ordered for my granddaughter for Christmas. She loved them. I have a set that she loves playing with at my house. Mine are a bit smaller and the wooden carousel is smaller as well. They were a good value but not as sturdy as the set I have. All in all a good set for a kid. Lots of different, fun designs to cut out.
