Aromatic Basmati Rice
If you want good quality basmati rice, go for Kohinoor Gold basmati rice. Good packaging and trustworthy brand. In the bag, 90% of the rice grains are intact while 10% are slightly broken. For better quality, soak the rice in water for 10 minutes and then cook it by draining the water. I found it to be of good quality.

The way forward
We eat a lot of rice and we were regularly buying packs in the supermarket.Took a punt on buying a bulk bag from the supermarket recently and it lasted so much longer and the quality of the rice was even better than those supermarket own brands.First time using the Kohinoor gold rice but the grains are a really good size and it cooks well.I've found that you need to rinse it before using it, more so than the smaller packs from the supermarket.
