Smooth and Easy to Work With
This yarn is great, especially for 100% cotton yarn. It feels smooth and doesn't fray. It is very easy to work with and doesn't irritate my skin with its coarseness like some of the other cotton yarns. The colors are true to the photos. The white is really nice and bright white. I'll definitely purchase again to use for future projects. I've included a photo of the in-progress blanket I purchased this yarn for, which displays the colors: White, Succulent, Terracotta, and Lemon

Beautiful!
This is beautiful yarn. It has a somewhat stiff feel compared to other cotton yarns, almost like it was waxed. I had to use a plastic hook with it because my painted hooks kept sticking to the finish and this made it harder to form stitches. The plastic hooks were fine. Normally, my vintage painted hooks glide easily through any yarn. This yarn made much prettier designs than another brand of cotton yarn when I tested them with samples of the same intricate pattern. This yarn showed off the pattern better and made it look artistic. It takes a little longer to form certain stitches because of the yarn’s coating, but the finished product is definitely worth the added time. I didn’t experience any splitting like I did with the other brand. Unraveling (frogging) is easy. I tried this repeatedly on the same section to make sure. This brand has good online recommendations and reviews, so I assume it will prove to be worth the cost. The colors are so pretty that it was hard to decide which to buy first. I noticed some packages with compatible colors, too. Very pretty choices. Cotton yarn is great for so many things, so having some of this on hand would be a good idea. I bought four skeins of the eggplant color. It goes beautifully with antiques and framed antique pictures.

A good affordable cotton yarn 😊
This yarn is great for crocheting bags!! This yarn is perfect for granny squares, and is easy to crochet with. It’s affordable and totally worth it! The yarn ball is a little smaller as it looks in the picture but I was able to create many granny squares with the whole yarn. 10/10 would recommend. Very good cotton yarn. Good quality.

Nice yarn, but the color is off
Why did you pick this product vs others?:I like the yarn. It’s a silkier, thinner feeling yarn than a regular cotton yarn, I assume that’s due to it being mercerized. It has a pretty sheen to it and makes the finished product look nicer. The 4 stars is because Amber color is much darker in person than it shows online. It’s still pretty, just not what I was expecting.

Excellent yarn
High quality yarn from Lion. This is my first time using cotton yarn and it’s great for the couple projects I’ve done so far (amigurumi and a purse). There’s no stretch which I like for the purse. The yarn is smooth with no fraying, the color is bright and the texture is soft and doesn’t irritate my fingers while I work. Definitely recommend and will continue using this line

Soft and durable
Can’t go wrong with Lion brand yarn. I love this cotton yarn for wearables like tops and swimsuit covers. Great color choices! Durable through washes without breakage.

Nice yarn but absolutely NOT Medium 4 worsted weight
In short, the yarn itself is easily five stars IF you want a good quality light worsted, 3, DK, etc yarn on the thinner side. But don't get it if its specifically for a project calling for worsted medium weight weight. The three stars is because the yarn isn't close to the weight it claims to be and I wasn't able to use it for my intended project.Upon the yarn arriving it was evident that the skein was indeed smaller that usual despite having a typical 170m length. This wouldn't have been a problem, but the strands were NOTICEABLY thinner than the worsted weight yarn I had been using. Nevertheless, I decided to proceed with my pattern that called for worsted weight yarn and a 3.75 mm crochet hook. Using a 3.5 mm hook I began my pattern, but stopped after finishing the base because, as you can see, the gaps were too big for my amigurumi and the filling would be showing. I show some comparisons with other worsted weight yarn I had been using. I'm not a wraps per inch expert so take that photo however you want. The color of the yarn is nice and what I wanted/expected. It is cotton which is of course a little harder on the hands, but it is easier on the hands and smoother than Sugar 'n Cream cotton yarn. I agree that it has a nice sheen, especially for cotton. This skein feels pretty hefty for being so small, and this is indeed reflected in how sturdy it is. I would consider this yarn to be soft and comfortable against even my sensitive skin, but it will produce stiffer projects than other soft yarns due to its sturdiness. This yarn DOES NOT split. Perhaps this is because this yarn is made of four strands twisted around each other firmly with each of the four strands being made of two strands twisted together (for an 8 ply?). So Lion Brand 24/7 cotton is a good yarn, but the labeled weight needs to be taken with several grains of salt.
