Ugaoo Cactus and Succulents Potting Soil Mix for Plants - 5 kg

Good potting mix. Only issue is the cost. It's very airy, little moist, but no smell at all. Good quality fertile soil

It is a very good mix, well draining but retain some amount of water. But it should be mentioned here this is not a proper sacculant mix. Very less amount of perlite, no coarse sand, only coco peat and some clay. It's very good as an all purpose potting soil but not as a sacculant/ cactus mix. Even Ugaoo probably know that, I bought sacculant from them and that was in a complete different medium.

I have purchased this for 3 times now. Love this potting mixture, I have all my succulents in this and also transferred my cactus and they're all doing well.I feel the drainage, growth, and everything works really well. You just need to know when the soil is dry and when to water your plant again. This will hold moisturise for right amount of time. For now, the weather is not that harsh so, I can go without watering my succulents on balcony for a week and some need early watering of the soil content in them is low. So, in all its very nice. It doesn't become hydrophobic like other mixtures I have tried and that is another plus point for sure.

This soil seems too Porus and not the right mix. Few of my succulents died because the soil feels too dry and hence overwatering happens. Realised it but then already two succulents got root rot. Not at all good for propagation so don’t even bother. Not good for succulents that need more moisture like jade. Check the other brand with thousands of good reviews and I will switch back to them once it’s time for repotting.

The soil is advertised as well-draining and ideal for succulents, but it turned out to be far from it. Despite my best efforts to water sparingly, the excess moisture quickly led to root rot. The leaves of my snake plant began to yellow and droop, and eventually, the entire plant succumbed to the rot. I was extremely disappointed with this product, as it was specifically designed for a plant I cherished. I would strongly advise against using this soil for any succulent, as it poses a high risk of root rot and plant death.

The media could not be loaded. Excellent product and very professional packaging and branding. Will be ordering more of this. Plants are loving it.Ordered my second packet in 2 days 🙏 Probably perlite content could be a little more.Before you use this product, make sure you know a thing or two about succulents. They need very very less water. They're basically desert plants. If you keep them outside make sure they're covered with a transparent plastic sheet. Not too much strong sunlight. Best place is on the inside of a window sill which gets sunlight half a day.

The packaging was intact, the soil was filled with all the necessary components.And I have faith in Ugaoo that it will give best results for my Succulents, Pothos and Spider Plants..

Not chunky / well draining enough. Have to amend it with more perlite / charcoal / coco chips to use. Doesn’t stink though, and no creepy crawlies or anything. Comes well packed. Works very well once amended.
