Update: Day 2 my hair looked great with some dry shampoo sprayed in the roots. (I used the dry shampoo from Philosophy) It had more bounce than the first day and I re-curled it and it held like normal. And it definitely prolonged my blow out for an extra 2 days more than normal. And I was out in major humidity and no frizz. So now I know that it works great, but I just won't like my hair on the first day lol.My original review: I followed the instructions perfectly and saturated my wet hair with only this product. I blew it dry with a round and flat brush with tension. It took longer than usual, but It did leave my hair soft and shiny. But it was really flat and limp, and looked thin. It also would not hold a curl and my hair normally loves curls and is bouncy. I did it on a humid Michigan day and it didn't frizz, so that was good. But I don't like the look of limp, thin hair and that's what it gave me unfortunately.

I bought this back in Feb and tried it a few times with rather disappointing results. I thought maybe the directions were a little exaggerated and I used it like other leave in products. Sprayed it into my hair, combed through, applied my usual anti-frizz serum and then blow dried as usual flipping my hair upside down. THIS IS NOT IT!A fewWeeks ago I tried it again because my hair was just a frizzy dry mess. I decided to follow the directions to the letter.I sectioned my towel dried hair that was still pretty wet. Sprayed each section LIBERALLY, like, more than I thought I ever should and combed each section through before moving on to the next. I skipped any other product in my hair which kind of terrified me.I let air dry a bit before blow drying with my giant air brush, again, going in sections and using tension and high heat.I was literally floored by the results! My hair was soft, felt like silk, was SUPER smooth and INSANELY shiny!!!!Since using this product the right way, my super dry, frizzy, crunchy hair has been the complete opposite. My co-workers all thought I had gotten my hair done at a salon, had my hair colored, had my hair cut….none of which has happened.My hair is easier to style and curl, it has bounce and movement. It glistens without looking oily.My only criticism is the design of the bottle. It’s not very ergonomic and the nozzle spins and I’ll lose my grip on it throughout application. So, I transferred the product into a different spray bottle that is much easier to hold while spraying.The moral of this story ladies and gentlemen is that you MUST follow the directions!! I can’t stress that enough. When they call it a coat, they mean it. Each section of your hair needs to be coating thoroughly and absolutely saturated by the product. Just spraying it into your hair isn’t going to do the trick. You also need heat with tension. Just blow drying won’t do it.Yes it takes a bit more time, but the results in applying it and blow drying correctly are worth it.I don’t notice a scent really.My hair just smells clean. I also notice my hair doesn’t get as oily as quickly. I was also surprised that no other products were needed at all. No leave in condition, no oil, serum nothing.

I’ve been eyeing this for a while now, but hated to spend the money. I’m so thankful the DreamCoat comes in a small size! I bought it to try and LOVE it. I am a natural blonde with very light hair, but it has become very dry as I get deeper into perimenopause. I usually use a leave in oil and a heat protectant and sometimes I feel they leave my hair a bit darker and can weigh it down. I have a chin length, heavily layered bob that I round brush dry. For a few days now I have skipped the other products and sprayed this liberally in my hair before blowing dry. It leaves my hair soft and manageable and seems to be multiple products in 1! I will definitely buy again.

I didn't see much of a difference. It doesn't mean it's not good. I just use really good shampoo and my hair usually looks shiny. But I looked at the ingredients. And WOW has silicone in it which I was reading that is rubber based and I also read that ALOT of fabric softeners contain silicone as well. It does basically the same thing as WOW. It coats your hair just the same way fabric softener coats fibers and repels water. I even read that some people will use a dimes worth of fabric softener in their hair which is not recommended because fabric softener may contain harsh chemicals. But I will continue to use it and see if there is a difference. It's a tad different. It improved my hair a little bit. And I can see it working really great for someone other than me who may not use good shampoo and who may have hair issues

Amazing but expensive. I have terrible hair, especially on the face frame area. Dry, thin, damaged, frizzy and exacerbated by humidity. Used per instructions this made my hair look silky and straight like I just left a salon. I only used on the sides of my hair and my face frame area, and used my fingers to pull my hair straight while drying it (per the bottle instructions to dry with ‘tension’).Will be amazed if it can actually hold up through several washes. It’s very expensive though, I don’t even know if a bottle would last the average person 1 month.

I just had to come back and leave a review! I’ve been debating this purchase for months. My hair gets super frizzy, so I’ve been researching the best products to help—and this one kept topping the lists. I decided to try the smaller size first, and wow… I used it today for the first time, on a rainy, cloudy day no less—even stepped out in the light drizzle. Let me tell you, this stuff is incredible! I’m absolutely getting the full size next time! I don't know why I didn't buy this sooner. Trick is to drench hair in it and then blow dry, heat will activate it.
