O'Valley Farms - Aji Amarillo (Yellow Chili Pepper Paste), 7.5 oz (Medium Spicy, Pack of 1)

Needed this for Peruvian dishes I was making. Came quickly and was sealed and packaged well. Taste is delicious and fresh. Seems good quality for aji paste. Love how it’s in a resealable squeeze package that I can store in fridge until I use it again. Overall great product!

I enjoyed everything about this product. I love spicy, but my gut doesn't. If you have the same desire for spicy flavor but you have trouble digesting it. Try this. I used it in a Salsa that called for chilies. It was delicious. I made a Puerto Rican Chicken Stew with it, fantastic. I think it will be my new hot sauce. I'll have to put in another order soon. Please try, and enjoy. Remember the mild, no heat.

I really like this yellow chili pepper paste. It has a bold peppery flavor with a good medium spicy heat to it. I used it as a dipping sauce for some air-fried chicken nuggets and it was tasty. The sauce really imparted a flavorful taste and heat to the chicken nuggets.This comes in a sturdy plastic pouch with a capped pour spout. I would have preferred a glass bottle for ease of use as a finishing hot sauce. Mine is good until 06/2023. Requires refrigeration after opening. Overall, I like this a lot. Flavorful and medium spicy. Product of Peru. Good stuff.

I bought this to make Peruvian ceviche, and while it’s tastes great, I’m really annoyed to look at the packaging and see that it was produced 10 months ago and expires in 2 months. For ~$6 I’m not going to be able to use the rest of this large package in that time and I’m wondering why I got sent an old product…

My wife says the aji amarillo has no flavor. The dishes she made with it have no flavor of aji amarillo. Not recommended.

I used to buy the sauce in jars. I usually do not need much of it and then left it in the fridge. Most times I wasn’t able to all of it before it spoiled. I love the packaging since it keeps in the bag longer. It is very cost effective.

I prefer the Inca food’s aji Amarillo. I didn’t like this weird taste.
