Why did you choose this product over others?:I love this product, because if I apply 2 or 3 doses it feels like a low dose of Valium, without any of the dangers. They say that magnesium is 'nature's tranquilizer.' When I take magnesium capsules/tablets, I don't get the same effect so for me it absorbs very well through the skin. Tablets are only good for constipation in my case! The caveat is that some people won't get on with this as it can potentially irritate the skin. I don't have a problem though. It helps my restless legs syndrome, relaxes me in the evening and seems to slightly improve my sleep quality.

Yes, this is sticky when applied, but if yoy apply a small amount and apply it over a larger area it is not so bad, but also, it takes about 20 - 60 minutes for the magnesium to be absorbed, and then after that, you just wash the excess off. Apply sparingly. Not too much as that is a waste of gel. I apply mine on my shoulder muscles in the morning and after 1 hour of prayer, I wash the residue off. In the afternoon, again, but on the inside of my forearm, leave it hile I watch a film, then wash off the residue. Then again in the evening, while watching a film or youtube. I wash the residue off before I go to bed. If you are going out or to bed, then don't apply it then. Just an hour before. This gets absorbed into the blood stream through the skin cells and it takes about 12 weeks to feel the effect fully, according to their site. This is definitely worth it. Try applying Aloe vera on top of it to help.

I felt like this really worked on my very stiff neck and shoulder muscles. After suffering for a few days with intensely sore and tight muscles this seemed to work almost instantly! Sometimes it stung a bit on more sensitive skin around my neck nut not sure if that was this or that id been putting on loads of pain relief gel before it!

Seemed to help with aches in my legs whilst marathon training but there was a very fine line between what was ok and what would cause my skin to come up in a rash

I've been using the spray for a while. Didn't know the gel existed.Much easier to apply as a gel, and not as harsh to the skin.Best deodorant on the planet.

I bought this after a friend recommended it for night leg cramps. I was getting leg cramp during the night, every night for weeks and it was getting unbearable so a friend thought maybe I should try magnesium gel. I have been using this for a few weeks now and have to say this has helped incredibly. I've only had about 2 cramps since first using this and that was only at the start, nothing since and fingers crossed, nothing again. You only need a small amount and I just rub it on the calf area of each leg. It can feel a bit sticky but once it's soaked into the skin this disappears. Just don't be tempted to use too much as a little really does go a long way. I'll certainly be keeping a stock of this as I'm super impressed with it. I don't know about using it on injuries, sprains, etc. and I don't think it would give any sort of pain relief as such but for the purpose I wanted to try it on, it's spot on!

This gel works, but has the texture of golden syrup. I'm going to order something else as I can't use it. The gel does not absorb quickly and clothes stick to it. I have to was my hands to get the stickiness off .
