PanPastel 10 Colour Set - Drawing Set

Wow, these pan pastels are a delight to use Creamy, not too much dust when using, great blending capability. Lovely choice of colours, especially for animal artwork only slight negative is that the pans do not have individual lids, but instead screw and stack. Nothing else negative, just that they take a while to arrive plus postage. However, we'll worth the wait.

Excellent product great for use with clairefountaine pastelmat! A tiny bit goes a long way & great blending. The only thing I question is the tools with the pastel pans ? The big sponges are great but what are u supposed to do with the smaller ones because there’s nothing to attach them to

These are good pan pastels, but several were crumbling, causing quite a mess when they were opened. Needs better packaging!

After reading the review I was a little apprehensive as some of the Pans seem to come damaged but I still wanted to try them as I have heard great things. Well!! all 10 came in perfect condition and they look fantastic and silky. I know some people have issues as there is only one lid, but the others all screw on top of each other, so for me no issue at all.A label with all the colours come with, that wrap around the whole cylinder. This is the only slight and I mean slight issue as it may have been better to have a colour on the side of each dish so you know what is in each pot instead of having to go back to the label and counting down to the colour you need.Would I recommend? YES. I know it is not cheap but the quality is fantastic and goes a lot further and is easier to blend than sticks or pencils. Comes with a few tools, a little bit small for my hands but I did not buy for the tools. Overall, 10/10 for me.

This is a great set if you draw a lot of animals or birds. Very neutral colours that work wonderfully together. It comes with the usual few sponges and the ends to go on the tools, which I find a bit pointless if you don't have the tool.My set arrived with about 4 of the pans smashed up inside, however I don't think that's a huge issue as they still work.Obviously this set only comes with one lid, so if you wanted to keep them separate you would need to buy extra lids. I quite like them stacked though as it's neater and space saving.I used the set as the underpainting on this horse, I was very pleased with how they blended.

First the product.Excellent all round. The pigments go on smoothly and stay there but can still be manipulated and blended easily.The packaging is nifty and you get a selection of sponges which is a nice touch....but I wish that they supplied more than one lid as it means that all the cakes have to be stacked every time to store with the lid on the top one.Now the cost...Well, at first it seems like a good price for the set of ten BUT. this item comes direct from USA.....The shipping was £15+ and then there is the import VAT of 20% which is levied on the item value PLUS the postage. This is not laid out anywhere on the description or checkout process...BEWARE by time it is all finished they cost more than all of the UK retailers of the product.Amazon responded when I complained about this and refunded me the VAT but whether they will do this for other buyers again, I am not sure.I have given the product itself 4 stars but the postage takes 3 away

I’ve started building up a collection of pans & have enjoyed each arrival…. until today when I opened the titanium white pan & a lot of it ended up over my clothes! I’ve managed to get some of the larger pieces back in to the pan but about a quarter of the pan is lost. I guess I’ve been lucky that 19 out of the twenty pans I’ve had have been good & lots of fun playing with them so far.
