I don’t use a comb that much but when I do I want to use the best comb available.This little travel comb is great for such occasions. Will fit in a Jean or suit pocket easily. Not that sturdy for heavily knotted hair but ideal for the discerning gentleman at home or away. Class bit of kit that if looked after will last the test of time.Size: small but that’s probably why your buying it.Weight: light and will go unnoticed in a pocket.Quality. A little precious due to the hinge but well made none the less. Worth the money.

Good folding comb. From an aesthetic perspective it's a shame some of the gold engraving has rubbed off already. It's not that important, but I guess it could be from the comb makers advertising point of view as it's the word KENT, that has half rubbed off. Good comb though.

This is essentially the same comb as the one marketed by Captain Fawcett. The difference is the gold printed logo, which has lasted longer on this version. I wonder who actually manufactures this comb. I hope it lasts longer than the Captain Fawcett version, which to be fair, did survive over 6 years of daily use. The comb works well at grooming my beard after the application of beard oil or balm. I recommend the purchase of the leather sleeve for this comb. Not sure whether you can buy the sleeve from Kent. You can from Captain Fawcett. All in all a decent product, with a much nicer feel than the usual moulded polythene combs sold in chemists and supermarkets, albeit at a much higher price.

I’ve always been a fan of Kent combs from a general hair and scalp care perspective, and having mislaid my last one, I was seeking another. Having seen this, I was drawn by its portability but really wasn’t sure whether the hinge would stand the wear and tear. However, I have been very impressed with its sturdiness so far, and the cover protects the teeth from damage in my back pocket. Very happy!

The tines are too sharp. I have to be very careful so as not to scratch my head ! Handy size and design though.
