I lost my beautiful dog this week and ordered this for myself and I love. Excellent quality and as described.

I looked a long time for a suitable anniversary present for my wife on our bronze wedding anniversary. This was the perfect gift and my wife loved it. Of course, we have a dachshund so this was a great present for our special day.

The “Standing Dachshund” from “Thorne Antiques and Collectables” is an antique-looking bronzed resin ornament that’s ideal for a household who have (or love) Dachshund dogs.The ornament arrives in a strong and robust protective box with plenty of protective packaging around it to ensure safe transit of the ornament. That’s not to say the sculpture isn’t quite sturdy in itself! This thing is actually quite sold and robust.The first thing you notice about the dog ornament is the weight of the thing. It feels solid and very well made. It’s made from resin but you could easily think it was made from solid bronze. Okay, so the weight isn’t that much, but the look and feel of it is one of a good-quality and solid ornament.The attention to detail and overall quality of the manufacture is spot on. The facial features of the adorable dog are excellent. Even down to the ripples of doggy skin and the handsome pours. It’s a top-quality representation of a Dachshund.Really happy with this ornament and how fitting it is in our house. Love it.

This is not bronze and you might miss the fact that this is bronze effect resin. With that aside, this is a very nice statue. The bronze effect is well done and the dachshund is very good. Very cute and a lot like my own little sausage dog. Maybe a bit smaller. I throughly recommend this. Great stuff.
