Nice Comfortable shoes and better priced than some similar makes.

Okay, I now own 2 pairs of shoes from this company [and 2 pairs of boots as well!] their quality has been absolutely consistent. This new pair arrived quickly and fits perfectly. As with other Savage Island footwear it took only one day to break in despite that this pair is the brown 'hard leather' option rather than the cream 'suede'. They are a robust shoe and perfect for walking along the rugged cliff paths near my home in Cornwall. The price for product is simply unfathomable! I do not know why they sell their shoes and boots as cheap as they do but I am incredibly impressed. Quick service, great fit, great price and they are built to last. Savage Island has become my shoe brand of preferred choice. More than satisfied.Edit on the brown leather shoes after 9 months. Sadly inside the heel has collapsed completely after just 9 months. Due to a bad winter they have not been used much over the last four months and so am disappointed at this just two uses into the New Year. The show is now completely unusable due to this. All I did was put them on to go to the supermarket less than a mile away and the heel began to fill with water residue from the street itself an hour after the rain had stopped. So there must be a tiny hole hidden inside that I have been unable to locate, then basically the entire inner heel structure simply caved. Effectively as it is 9 months since purchase they only lasted 5 months usage which is really not good at all. The cream 'suede' version is still going strong but the brown leather is simply not up the the usual Savage Island standards. Very disappointed in this.

Had a pair of brown size 8, for about a fortnight. They fit well and are quite comfortable. And I would say at the price they are good value.

Shoe is comfortable. Wear them for 12 hour shifts and no problems. They are not real leather though. So sure how they are going to stand up during the winter months. But good price for what they are

I loved these shoes as soon as I saw them and put them on.Great quality with an excellent tread and really comfy and roomy from the start..I did not have to break them in like I normally do.I have worn these every day for a week doing a 12 hour shift on My feet all the time without any problems at all.I am going to buy another pair before they all go cos I'm going to miss these !

Day one and the inner lining came loose.Day two and the sole begins to collapse.Day three and the sole starts to come away from the upper.Day four and the shoe is now unwareable.AVOID ALL SAVAGE ISLAND FOOTWEAR!!These guys are utter con artists and their shoes are a complete and utter waste of money and you will walk out of them within a week. I cannot stress enough how poorly made these shoes were. This was my second and final purchase of this brand (first pair wasn't much better but I gave them the benefit of the doubt)
