Excellent!
Life saver. I had an old Exogen 4000 unit lying around, which is 10+ years old.Naturally the LiOn batteries were no longer capable of holding a charge.I performed a simple swap out, hoping it might work. 100% success.

Perfect fit for Exogen 2000
Used to replace the battery in my Exogen 2000. At first I was a little worried it wouldn't fit, but it's the exact same size and connector. Works well so far and I can use the device. The original battery says it was manufactured in June 2005.You'll will have to use heat to peel off the stickers on the back housing to get to the screws to disassemble it.

Good quality Lithium-Thionyl Chloride batteries. They are not rechargeable.
These batteries are Lithium-Thionyl Chloride. They are primary batteries - which means that they are not rechargeable. Do not try to recharge them. They have a very high energy density and can have a shelf life of up to 10 years; losing less than 1% of their capacity per year. I am using them for a medical research project and not for their intended use in a specific medical device.
