Good loud whistle for when in trouble, sound really travels and they are super lightweight.The clips a little flimsy and did lose one already as it broke on a tree branch

Been using it in a quarry and asphalt plant whilst the radio comms were down for repairs.Worked a treat. Also now taking with me when out hiking due to the robust design that can take a lot of abuse and it’s size.Far better than most of the cheaper plastic designs that are on the market.Well worth it.

I have been getting a bit disappointed with amazon lately - it seems that nearly every purchase from here turns out to be a load of rubbish from china, some cheap plastic tat that you just wish you hadn't bothered with. This is the loudest whistle that I have owned in over 60 years. I bought it as a dog whistle, but have recommended it to sailing friends as an excellent safety whistle.Blow gently until you get used to it as it could deafen you if you blow too loudly.I hope it wears well and doesn't tarnish.
