Superb value budget phone
I finally decided to replace my old Cubot X19 which was still working fine, but the battery life was definitely on the way down. This phone is brilliant. I nearly went for the 512gb version, but frankly even this 256gb is 4 times what the X19 had and I hadn't even filled that, so I went small :-)The screen is gorgeous, high res and bright. The phone is extremely fast and responsive. So, any niggles? Of course...I am slightly bemused by the move of the fingerprint scanner from the back to the side, that is going to take a while to update that muscle memory. The scanner does work really well though.Same goes for the volume, which has moved from right to left. And with that now opposite the power button, I have already taken a few unintended screen shots. The power button is EXTREMELY light touch, which means it keeps getting pressed in my pocket. So I have the phone set to lock immediately it is turned off, so (hopefully) nothing unintended happens. There is a factory fit screen protector in place, but it seems to have been made from the softest plastic they could possibly find, after a week it is already just about as scratched as my 4+ year old X19, so I will definitely be replacing that with something harder soon.Plus points:Lovely screenvery fastbags of memorycase included (a bit chunky)good (enough for me anyway) camerano bloatwareI just can't see the attraction of paying 5-10 times as much for something with a big brand name on it when this sort of phone is available now.

Amazing Phone, like a google pixel but much cheaper!
I recently had the opportunity to try out the cubot p80 Smartphone, and I must say, it left a lasting impression on me. Gaming on this device was smooth, and graphics-intensive games ran without a hitch. The camera setup on the cubot p80 Smartphone is a standout feature. With a combination of a high-resolution primary sensor and additional lenses, it delivered exceptional photos in various lighting conditions. The dedicated Night mode really impressed me, producing clear and bright images even in low-light environments. The battery life on this phone is commendable. With moderate to heavy usage, I easily got through a full day without needing to recharge. Additionally, the fast charging capability ensured that refueling the battery was a quick and painless process. On the software front, the cubot p80 Smartphone's user interface was clean and intuitive. The phone ran on the latest version of the operating system, which came with a variety of useful features and optimizations. The absence of bloatware was a welcome change, as it kept the device clutter-free.One aspect that could be improved upon is the phone's speakers. While they were decent, I expected a little more clarity and bass, especially when listening to music or watching videos without headphones. In terms of design, the cubot p80 Smartphone exuded elegance. Its slim profile and ergonomic feel made it comfortable to hold for extended periods. Cubot P80 phone…surprised…
Arrived in a neat presentation box which contained everything needed to get started. the phone, power plug, usb c cable, earphones, screen protector, case for the back of the phone and instruction booklet. The cubot P80 has a crisp clean, brightly coloured display with many features you would expect from an expensive high street phone. The p80 was easy to set up and i was good to go in 5 minutes. The phone itself feels sturdy and robust and the 6.58inch FHD touch screen is quickly responsive. The back camera is 48MP and the front is 24MP. Dual sim or sim and extended memory card slot options. The P80 has many features for a personalised experience and theres a lot packed into this phone for the price and it comes with a 2 year warranty. A good all round priced phone that you get a lot for your money each time you press the unlock button…

Nice phone for the price
Lovely phone that does everything I want and quickly too. Recommended.Review update after four months of ownership.Well I've now had the phone for four months and sadly it does not live up to the five stars I gave it originally. I've had constant issues with the camera - the photo not always saving, just a blank white image - which can be both upsetting and/or annoying when you only sometimes get one shot at a picture or don't notice it hasn't saved until later. I registered for the two years support warranty when I bought the phone and although I have emailed support twice about this problem I've never had a reply. Their level of support is non-existent so now I am having to buy another phone that I can actually trust to save my pictures when taken and it definitely won't be Cubot. Very disappointed with the phone and can no longer recommend.
