Essential Jazz Collection (Piano Solo) (Paperback)

This book has beautiful, jazz voicings and it is a sheer delight to play. "It ain't necessarily so" was recently used in the ABRSM Grade 5 syallbus which gives a bit of the indication of the grade.For those pianists who feel they need a fuller arrangement they could add more notes from the chords to the arrangement. They would need to have gained a Grade 5 in theory to be able to do this.Thank you to all concerned.

Love this !! All arrangements are just great. No piece longer than two pages. Really enjoyed every piece in the book. Best in the series. Bought other books in series because of this and they are not as good.

I honestly would not bother buying this. Arrived, sat down at the piano with it and gave up after an hour - odd chord voicings, don't really flow. Returned to Amazon, which to be fair I don't do often.

Very rudimentary arrangements - barely more than the piano part of the standard sheet-music editions of the songs. Playable I suppose.

Clever pieces for about Grade 5, well arranged. Recommend it. Nicely laid out too.

These are good arrangements of jazz standards, probably about ABRSM grade 5 standard. Nice clear printing, easy to read.

Nice simple pieces to play. Would suit theOver grade player.
