I'm very happy with these. I saw a couple of negative reviews so when the sun came out and I finally got my chance to use the tools rather than just admire them I was scrutinising them carefully. I'm using them just as a dad making family dinner on the BBQ.The skewers went through some large baking potatoes I put in the oven, the tongs coped perfectly with foot long sausages and burgers and the wire brush cleaned the grate afterwards. The knife was already sharp enough to slice through cooked meat, but even so I sharpened it some more before proper use.Its definitely true that the flat metal shafts on the tools are more flexible than I'd expect but when it comes to steel vs food at my BBQ steel always wins. Perhaps I'm not working with huge enough steaks or am too good at keeping meat tender when I cook?Then at the end of the day the set can be washed and tucked neatly away in their own pack. Overall, I'm glad to have picked up this set.
