This looks exactly like the Dyson head that came with my vacuum and it works exactly like the original. The original had just worn out and wasn't turning anymore, this was a great way to cheaply extend the life of my very expensive vacuum. Seems very durable and is easy to clean.

After our V6 Animal motorhead mysteriously died after disassembling it for cleaning, we picked this up as a replacement. So far, so good. Slightly noisier than the Dyson version, but it glide across the floor with ease. Good value for the price considering what I would’ve paid for the same thing from Dyson - at this point, our V6 Animal has more non-Dyson replacement parts than it does OEM.

So you want to save a few bucks, go ahead and buy this Brush Cleaner Head....use it once, and you'll realize you should have bought the OEM for $20 more. Don't waste your time like I did....just go straight to Dyson on Amazon and buy the "Original Equipment Manufacturer." You can thank me later!

This fit my Dyson perfectly and saved me from having to buy a new Vaccuum.

This vacuum head fits perfectly onto the dyson vacuum. It vacuums on carpet perfectly, however it slides a little bit on my wood floors and I don't feel like it does as good of a job as the genuine dyson vacuum head. For the price however it's a great value! I would purchase it again, but its a 4 out of 5 start because of the function on wood floors.

This was the perfect replacement for my Dyson V10. My original "Quick release Motorhead" had gotten dirty and I thought I could just place it in water to clean it and let it dry. . . Well that was a dumb idea. . It wouldn't work after it dried, and upon some inspection I found I could have just used a quarter, turned and pulled the roller out to clean it. . . But after my stupid mistake this product came from Amazon, priced well, and arrived the same day as delivery. I may just buy another one to have an extra around. I love my Dyson and the quick release motorhead.

It's okay. Yes, it fits the original cordless Dyson without incident. However, the height from the floor is not the same and the suction is not as strong. I don't know if the suction is less because it's further from the floor or if it's a design flaw??? It's about half the price of a "genuine Dyson replacement part". I don't have a replacement from Dyson to compare it to, but it's not like the original for sure. And it's definitely less expensive than buying a completely new cordless vacuum.

Purchased this item to replace our OEM part for our Dyson vac. Well it fits but it i not the same. It runs kind of funny on the vacuum. Does not have the floor adjustment thing that lets me control the amount of air floor through the head. When vacuuming it does this thing where it pulls the dust and other stuff rather then actually sucking it up into the vacuum. Makes for going over the area twice if not more before you get everything sucked up. Not worth the money and would return if was not out of time frame.
