Not the best watercolour paper
It doesn’t let the paint flow and is not suited for wet on wet technique at all. Watercolour doesn’t flow, doesn’t mix and doesn’t do it’s thing.Since it is 25% cotton one shouldn’t except it to perform as an ideal watercolour paper.Beginners will find it even more challenging.

Good paper to practice on!!
I like it as this seems to be of absolutely right size to practice. The paper didn't buckle. Colours come up bright. Have used a sheet for pen work and it was fantastic too.

Good Product, but not Value-for-money
As an amateur painter, I had been using Brustro Watercolor paper for quite some time (which are again great value for money). Once I upgraded to professional quality paints, I also wanted to use a slightly better paper. Now, when it comes to professional quality paper, you have various brands available like Arches (Absolute Best, Most Expensive), Strathmore and then Fabriano. I picked up Cold Pressed 300 GSM Block of 20 Sheets from my regular stationery shop. MRP of the product is Rs. 897, and after 20% discount it cost by Rs. 718 (Roughly Rs. 36 per Sheet). Its size is slightly larger than an A4, around an inch more on two sides. For people who don’t know the difference between Cold Pressed and Hot Pressed Watercolor paper, here it is:Cold Pressed Paper – The texture of this paper is rougher than hot pressed. Hence, for pure watercolor work, this is recommended.Hot Pressed Paper – The texture of this paper is much smoother. If you want to do some pen work, line work, and on top of that you wish to use some watercolor, pick hot pressed paper.Coming to the performance, the paper is of great quality, and soaks up water really well. I enjoyed painting on it. Although, if you put too much water, this too would become wavy. I don’t think there’s any paper with which you can avoid it in case too much water is being used. However, I’ve used Brustro too, and I didn’t feel any great difference. Maybe this Fabriano is slightly better but if I’m looking for good value for money, I would pick Brustro over Fabriano. To sum up, I’m happy with the purchase and would recommend this product. However, if you’re looking for Value for Money, I think Brustro would serve you much better and as a newbie you won't be able to tell any difference.
