Always a gamble buying clothes on Amazon as every designer cut is different, I am usually a 36 inch waist but bought a 38 inch as well just to be safe !! I did not need the 38 inch, the 36 inch waist fitted great. The material is not a standard jean/denim but more like a twill, bought these for work, worn them once so far so had them on for approximately 10 hours, no problems, very comfortable, very happy with the purchase :)

I have 4 pair of these. 2 greys, 1 black and 1 tan. None of them are the same size despite me ordering them all in 32W 34L. 1 of the grey fit me perfectly, the second grey fits me but is a bit smaller waist wise. Both greys have correct 34 L but different 32 W for some weird reason.Now the Tan one is smaller than both grey WAIST Wise and instead of being 34L I measure it and its 32 L (a bit less than that).The smallest one of all its the black one which turns out is a little less than 32 W and 34L. Not the size I ordered and this doesn't even go past my thigh area so I can't wear it at all and this is suppose to be a 32 W? I am a rather lean guy 6ft 1 so it makes no sense.Returning the items and will try elsewhere.A big shame since these are actually nice chinos but you can't rely on the seller to keep them size concistant.Buy at your own risk.

I ordered a black pair and a grey pair (still awaiting arrival of the black pair) of 46" slim fit chinos. These are the oddest fitting trousers I've ever tried - The legs are the right length, but they're so tight it looks as though they've been painted on (super skinny fit instead of slim). Not the end of the world, but the deal-breaker is the groin/bum - the circumference of the waist is ample but there is no room at all between the top of the leg and the waist - the belt line stops half-way down my bum (and is VERY restrictive around the front). Maybe if you had no arse at all then you might be able to pull it off, but I don't know any people with a 46" waist that don't have an analogous posterior. According to some comments the sizing is very inconsistent, so the black ones might actually fit when they arrive, but I have a sneaking suspicion I'll be returning those as well.

I couldn’t not write a review, I was a bit dubious reading past reviews but I took the plunge and ended up buying 5 pairs! They are perfect for work which requires black trousers. A nice taper to the leg without being too tight or restrictive. They’ve washed and dried well and no fading of colour. The only downside is the inconsistencies in the waist size. It’s not much to bother me but I do notice that one pair is a bit trimmer on the waist. Still 5 stars for the price and quality though!

Look lovely on, nice length. Waist is a little big so has to use a belt but think 30's would have been a bit tight everywhere else, so glad I bought 32's. Can't get school trousers to fit so these were great for my nearly 6ft son with long thin legs. He really likes them so will be ordering another pair

The material is good and stretchy but the fitting isn't great and I have to pull trousers down to avoid them making me uncomfortable in certain body parts. Wish they were a little loose. They also tend to attract a lot of lint, so I had to but lint roller to get rid of it every time I wore these trousers. Otherwise the colour stays on after so many washes, still looking good.

I’ve been looking for jeans like this for a very long while. An absolute steal for that price so I went and bought another four the next day.

Got tan 38w 34l, and they are incedibly tight in the legs, and very short between the groin and the waist, so be prepared to display a lot of underwear and constantly have to pull them up. The quality of the fabric is also quite rough and relatively thin. I think you can get better for the same price.
