Q: They need to write the pet safety Warning in all capitaletters: "XYLITOL IS FATAL TO DOGS!", don't you think? Baked goods getting shared with pets?

I don't bake with it, and I do not feed baked goods (or most human foods) to my dog. Honestly, I think it is up to the pet owner to be aware of what is fed to their pet (dogs & cats), and be aware of what human foods are harmful to them. Warnings cannot be put on everything - grapes? raisins? Motrin? onions? Many things are very harmful dogs and cats, I feel it's the pet owners responsibility.
