Outstanding!
The Hallmark Industries Submersible Pump is an outstanding choice for anyone needing a reliable and efficient deep well pump. I installed this pump on my farm, and it has exceeded my expectations in every way. It provides a strong, steady water flow that easily meets my farm’s needs, whether for irrigation, livestock, or household use.One of the biggest advantages of this pump is its ease of installation. It was simple to set up, and it came with waterproofing materials to ensure a secure and long-lasting connection. The pump started running without any issues, and its performance has been consistently excellent. The build quality is solid, giving me confidence that it will last for years. One minor drawback is that it only comes with about 5 feet of wire, so you’ll likely need to purchase additional wiring depending on your setup. However, considering the pump’s affordable price, this is understandable. The cost savings on the pump itself easily offset the need to buy extra wire, making it a great value overall.Compared to other submersible pumps in this price range, Hallmark Industries delivers impressive power and durability. It runs quietly and efficiently, and I haven’t experienced any issues with pressure or reliability. It’s well worth the investment for anyone needing a dependable water source for their farm, home, or off-grid setup. If you’re looking for a sturdy, high-performing submersible pump, this is a fantastic option. I highly recommend it!

Great so far. Small gauge ground wire. If it lasts, it's the bomb!
Pump is set at 50 feet in a 57 foot deep well (static water level 19 ft.) on 1 1/4" poly tube/pipe. Open discharge (no pressure, just running open onto the ground) it was producing over 20 gpm. At 65 psi of pressure, it is producing a solid 11 gpm for several hours non-stop. I was skeptical of this pump because of the cheap price. The lead wires are of inferior quality. The ground wire is ridiculously small (gauge not length). If you are not adept at splicing, find someone who is or you may have a hard time make such a delicate connection. I would pay an extra $5 or $10 for a higher quality lead wire - you listening Hallmark? This appears to be a Chinese made pump, so do not expect Grundfos quality. I needed a 115 volt pump as I want to be able to pump with my Honda EU2000i generators which do not produce 220v only 115v. Have not had the opportunity to pump with the generators yet and we will see if they produce enough power to start this pump. Will update review when I've tested that. Overall, I am impressed so far, but time will tell how long this pump lasts.***Update April 2016 - this pump continues to work good. I have now run the pump by powering it with my Honda EU2000i generator(s). With the two Hondas paralleled together and Eco throttle off, the pump starts up and pumps with barely a drop in voltage. With Eco throttle on and the generators starting from idle, there is a lag and voltage drop for a second as the pump has a high locked rotor amp draw during spin up. I even tried pumping with only one EU2000i by itself. It will start and pump water but the voltage will drop to approx. 79 volts. Hard on the pump and the generator I am sure. But it will work in an emergency. Happy so far. Hope this pump last a long time.*******Update June 2018 - still pumping!! I use this pump as the only pump supplying my home (2.5 bathrooms, 5 people) and a stock water tank for 14 mother cows. I am very impressed with this pump at it's price point. Would buy again! Increasing from 4 stars to 5.

Does not fit past pitiless adapter in 4” well
If anyone is considering this for a well with a 4” casing, make sure to take the pitiless adapter into consideration. This fit into the casing fine on my well, but would not fit past the pitless adapter. I may have been able to force it past, but there’s no way it would have ever been able to come out in the future.I ended up purchasing their 3” well pump, and it has been working great for me for the couple months it’s been installed, so I’m sure this model would work great also.

Great pump for the price
I've had one of these running for two years pumping water from a stock tank to water fruit trees, garden and cattle. I run it three or four times a week except during the winter. I don't have a pressure switch and just turn it on and off to fill another tank that then gravity flows where I need it. It probably has to lift about 50' of head. The pump is suspended in the water from an empty 5 gallon oil bucket. It pumps a good stream and can fill the 1000 gallon tank in about an hour (~16 gpm). This spring when I turned it on after being down for the winter, it wouldn't pump. I could hear the motor running but no flow. I figured the pump had seized up and then when I started it, it had probably sheared the shaft between the motor and pump. Being I got two years out of it and the price was much less than other pumps, I went ahead and ordered a new one. When it arrived, I pulled the old pump and found out that the check valve built into the top of the pump was stuck. I freed it with a pair of needlenose pliers and put it back in the water and it stared pumping like new. So now I've got two years and counting of run life and a new pump on the shelf. To be clear, this is a cheap built pump and won't compare to the $400 - $600 types, but for the price I think it's a great pump and does the job. I've been very happy with the performance and run life so far.Update December 2019: Still going strong after almost 5 years.
