Combiva II for Dogs and Puppies, 21-55 lbs, by Combiva

Was using the FipronilLine+ but the fleas have developed a tolerance. So my poor girl was scratching non-stop as soon as it warmed up where we live. Decided to give this a try as it was rec'd pretty well online as an alternative to Adv II; same ingredients, same formula, and it is CHEAP. And it works. Still a tiny bit of scratching, but I don't see active fleas anymore (unlike with the previous product when I could pluck them off her). Could be she has sensitive skin, so we are using an oatmeal-aloe shampoo to see if that could be a problem. Washed her yesterday (2 weeks after 2nd treatment with Combiva II) and saw no fleas at all, unlike with the fipronil product. Might give the afoxolaner chewables a shot in a couple of months, might not. Depends on how well this product keeps working.

I used the Combiva feline product on my cats for a couple of years and was reasonably satisfied with it. I live in a rural area in Texas with multiple pets that go in and out as they like. Fleas are a year round issue here. I tried this product on 1 dog. Every month he started scratching around the 2 week mark and he was covered in fleas. This might work better in a single pet home or one where the animals don't spend so much time outdoors. I will not be using it again.

This flea medicine really works!!!! I use it for my dog Margo every month and have not seen a flea since I started using it on her! Very glad to have found this medicine and it’s easy to use.
