I had this for my first child and he very quickly learnt numbers 1 - 10. I went searching for it for my second but I think it was so well loved we threw it away. Just purchased it again! Highly recommend for toddlers learning numbers

I bought this as a present for a 1-year-old girl, and it's been well received. The flaps make the book very engaging and therefore educational. Rod Campbell books are great and have been a hit with my kids too!

Not as good as Dear Zoo but very much still enjoy opening the flaps and making animal noises.

These books are the exact level of simplicity that toddlers require, with basic illustration. All his books seems to grip my boys attention, since he was 12months old he has adored Dear Zoo, so santa has bought him this for christmas. The flap lifting business creates suspense and interest, and baby is surprised everytime. Brilliant learning book.

We already had a few other Rod Campbell books ("Dear Zoo" and "Oh, dear") that have been our daughter's favourite bedtime stories since she was 9 months old. This one has not let us down, as she is now 2 and it has helped her to learn to count, with illustrations she'd already been familiar with from the previous books (the characters as well as the size and style of the various books are very similar).

I really liked this book however I decided in error to get a second hand flap book fulfilled by Amazon. A major mistake as it was described as very good even though a couple of flaps were missing. I will re-order the book but get it new next time. My baby is 16 months and she loves pulling the flaps up. She has the other Books by Rod Campbell bought new thankfully. The return cost was low less than £1.15 so no prob returning it which i've already done.

Great book for 1-2 year old. My daughter loved it so we bought as gifts for friends babies to enjoy.

This is really a "counting" book, not a story. But it's chosen to read often so that's a win! The flaps are fun and sturdy, and the illustrations are nice. The animals looks like real animals, not cartoon versions.

We have several books by this author and this is another one our son enjoys. He loves the flaps and will assist with his counting as he gets older

Wanted to love this book! We are big fans of other Ron Campbell books. Took off some stars for the following - There is no flap for “1” and two flaps for “10.” Would be better for learning 1:1 correspondence if there was consistently 1 flap per number. For “3 puppies” there are 4 dogs on the page. For “9 ducks” the ducks are two different colors/styles which makes it confusing to teach 9 of the same animal when all other animals are the same throughout the book.

My 11 month old daughter loved Dear Zoo, so I got her this one too. Another favourite! She loves lifting the flaps on each page and is starting to recognise the different animals.
