Cool technology, lightweight, and comfortable
Before buying these sleeping pads for my family of four, I really questioned if they would be worth the price. I had a good experience with Venture 4th sleeping bags so willing to try out the pads. After several camping trips, they definitely provided their money's worth and I think they are durable enough to last a very long time. The inflation technology is super cool - so easy. The pad is comfortable; it doesn't sit too high from the ground (about an inch or two) but provides a nice sleeping surface and keeps you warm and dry. It's easy to carry and it is very easy to deflate and repackage in its carrying sleeve (super important to me - it's one of my pet peeves when I need to wrestle equipment back into its pack.)

Good for the price
This pad was very nice for sleeping on. I did have to blow it up by mouth to get it hard enough for how I wanted it. Another reason I didn't give it 5 stars was it doesn't compress super small but is still pretty lightweight and comfortable.

5 Stars!
This is an excellent product.... seriously, ....it's easy to inflate (it took a few easy puffs), and it stayed inflated ... as in ....for days..... It's comfortable to sleep on without bottoming out if you're a side sleeper. The width is better than others on the market and like all self inflating pads it's a stinker to fold up so I rolled it up. I was not able to put it back in the bag that came with it, but I just roll it up with a cinch belt, throw it in my car trunk and off I go. I prefer the self inflating pad to the regular inflatable bags because I find they are more comfortable, but when I need the space and reduced weight I pull out my inflatable. and take that backpacking. The self inflating pad works well if you're going car camping. I store this pad, under my bed, laid out with the valve open, as I've found this keeps the bag loft better this way. I used the coupon that was offered with this product and was pleased to get it for a reasonable price. It was worth every penny....

Great for kids
My 9 year old used this on her school field trip that was an overnight trip. I was worried about my kid sleeping on the hard floor. This sleeping mat was perfect and matched well with the sleeping bag I bought. At first I was a little apprehensive for her to use this on her own, however I had my kiddo practice at home several times inflating, deflating, folding, rolling it up and stuffing it in the case it came in. I told my kid that she has to learn how to do things on her own. Mommy & Daddy can’t always be there to help you. Lol. Even though there were adult chaperones, she was able to set it up independently and on her own without adult help. I was really proud of her! She said it was really comfortable too!

Dreams deflated
I was so excited for camping this year, because I purchased this air mattress for my sleeping bag. I figured this , with my foam yoga mat, and I’d be a comfy cozy camper. The first time I used it, it deflated half way through the night. Now it simply deflated as soon as I get in my sleeping bag (which is on the air mat). It is also made of foam , but if there’s no air, the foam doesn’t do much to soften the hard ground . Kinda disappointed. After one use apparently I am going have to search it for a small leak. I am pretty careful with my camping gear and I’m not an overly heavy person. There is no reason it should have a leak is all I’m saying. Super bummed, and looking for a different one as I speak🥲

Great comfort at unbeatable price
I enjoy finding new outdoor companies to try their products. Venture 4th is one such company to keep an eye on. Forget the deals you see and just buy the pad. It’s worth the $35. On the day it was delivered I had already received an email from the company on its warranty policy (as good as the best outdoor outfitters) so I’m glad to see their customer service going above and beyond what is the norm these days. This is a self inflating pad but that doesn’t mean it gets it to your desired level of thickness on its own. You do have to blow in it a little. I’m most impressed with the valve construction as it goes well inside and along the edges of the pad. This ensures it won’t slip out like others I’ve tried out including thermorest. I took it camping this past weekend and it worked like a charm. This is a great pad for those camping for the weekend but may be a bit to big when packed down for ultralight hikers going on a thru-hike. In that case a thermorest that may collapse or have it’s air valve break is a better bet.

Like it so far
I think I paid about the same in 1994 dollars for a very similar mat from REI. It was top of the line gear at the time. I haven't had a chance to field test this mat yet, but I'm expecting similar performance. I had that REI mat for years, basically until I couldn't get it to inflate anymore. Venture4th has good products and that's why I chose this for my younger daughter for an upcoming extended camping trip. I still have and regularly use some of their towels I bought in 2021. This mat won't see heavy use, but it looks rugged enough to withstand some youthful abuse.I had originally looked at this mat for myself for backpacking but ultimately chose a lighter-weight manually inflated mat. However, if I hadn't had the extra money for that splurge, this mat definitely would've been my choice. It's a little heavier but appears to be a really good value for the price. Four stars for the extra weight, but five for everything else.

Using for comfortable camping
We camp a lot and a comfortable sleeping pad is important to us. I ordered these pads because of the thickness/padding. The sleeping pads came in a plastic bag. In the plastic bag was the pad storage pouch with a string tie. In the storage pouch was the sleeping pad with a Velcro strap, two puncture patches, and instructions on how to clean and reroll the pad. I appreciate the puncture patches because we do a lot of camping. Sometimes rocks or thorns get into the tent and creates punctures. The patches will allow for a quick fix. This is helpful when we are on a multiple-day camping trip and we get a hole in a pad on the first night. I like that this pad is easily cleaned with soap and water. The key for me was how simple it was to reroll the pad and it fits into the storage pouch. I do not like it when I can’t refold something and it does not fit back into the bag.

Excelente calidad-precio
