As someone who has been doing her own nails at home for years these are by far the best nail files I have used.

Long lasting, great for acrylic, gel, and natural nails. I do my own nails and have only gone through 5 files in the past 3 years. The shape of the files makes shaping nails so easy. They are good quality & very stiff unlike some of the cheaper files out there.

Used with gel nails to remove gel polish and buff down myself. They're very sharp at the edges and will cut the cuticles. However, they're extremely useful in taking off bulk and thickness. One file lasted me a full 10 nails removing a lot of bulk, with plenty of use left on it. These will last a long time. But... be careful around the cuticles. They HURT when you scrape the skin and will leave little cuts if you're not careful. I wish these things would come with guards on the edges!

I did not buy these to file my nails. I bought them to get into small spaces when I was sanding paper down. They work perfectly for that.
