Magpul MOE 1911 TSP Grip Panels

Super good quality and pretty

Let's begin with what these are not. These are not the fancy G10 grips you can get for 1911s these days. Those are awesome. I've felt them and they look gorgeous and are functional. However, I've recently popped my 1911 Cherry as a late Millennial/Early Gen z shooter. I appreciated the platform yet still kinda turned my nose to it. I bought a Tisas 1911 A1 and I shot it. Very basic but super well built for the price. They cut the corners on the grips and by nature of an A1, the sights. These grips will not be your Instagram threads highest like count. These will however give you great functional texture without breaking the bank. If you have a 1911 that is a bit of a beater and everyday gun and need some new grips for (wait for it) extra grip, these are excellent. That have the same texture as my ARs SL grip. Buy with confidence.

These grips are nice quality, look great, feel good and a perfect fit! I highly recommend them and Magpul!

I have two sets of these aggressive texture grips, and three sets of the standard, honestly I love them all. I have them in black, OD, and stealth grey (the grey is definitely grey, its dark, but its not black). the colors are solid, they are thin, the mag release cut is perfect, they are cut for an ambi safety, these grips have everything in an affordable package. I thought I was hooked on the G10 grips, but honestly, I like these better. I have 3 1911s with g10 grips, and as previously stated, 5 with these magpul grips, these win in my opinion.for the other side, if you are the type that needs super aggressive grips that have been rolled in broken glass, these aren't for you. you're better off sticking with the g10 grips. even these "aggressive" grips only offer a little more texture and bite than the standard version.

Fit my tisas with no issue. My hands are small so they fit around the him better, if you have big hands you might want something thicker

Put these on my Springfield Armories 1911 full size after a set of Pachmyar's shredded over time (a LONG time and lots of use). I liked my old grips but I think my hands are shrinking with old age. These are now more comfortable to me.Seem to be very well made.

I'll update this review if I get the right parts in the box after this return. ***UPDATE 9/29/2020***. I got the right stuff. And quick. Amazon return took me a stop at the UPS Store. "Beep, thank you." and I was back out the door. As for the grip panels; they are exactly what I wanted. A little more low profile than what came with the Ruger SP 1911 and with a good texture for a solid grip. They fit perfectly and don't impede any function of the gun. In fact, now I don't have to change my grip to drop the mag.
