Turned 58 and bought this as my old man birthday gift to myself. Got tired of plucking nose and ear hair (can lead to infections) so bought Panasonic’s top of the line trimmer.I also bought pricey lithium AAA batteries to reduce how often I have to swap out batteries. The battery cap requires a hard pull down to get past the rubber water tight ring.The serial number for registering is at the bottom where the batteries are. Panasonic requires a photo of the serial number and the purchase receipt which takes time, but they do give a generous 2 year warranty.Unit has good power and you can hear the hair getting cut but no pulling like other hair trimmers. The vibration is strong and may tickle but you can easily maneuver it so it doesn’t touch skin or press up against it to stop any awkwardness.I start in the ears, between the brows and up the nostrils. I then put some handsoap in my hands and run the trimmer to make suds and then open the water vent to let running water go through it. If you take apart the top, the and the trimming box take care of how it reassembles or it may fly apart. There is a definite lock turn on getting the silver trim box on/off. I used a white sharpie to make it more visible.Panasonic makes the best nose & hair trimmers so I don’t feel bad paying double what competitors charge for something that will last years.

Adequate, but I've found better. It simply does't trim as closely and as deeply as I sometimes need. It works well, cleans fairly easily. It's almost as effective as I'd like, but not quite.

Wow!! This clipper works incredibly well! My nose is as hairy as my armpit and this thing cleaned it out completely. I was surprised and very pleased.Thanks Panasonic!

It's a great stuff as It's described. It clips nose hair and vacuum it smoothly. It is worthy of It's price.

The media could not be loaded. This is a COMPLETELY honest review first hand with this product. I used it the first month once and it seemed fine. The vacuum feature didn't work very well, but it seemed good enough for actually cutting the nose hairs and I didn't worry about that feature.Fast forward 2 months, and only using it maybe 3 times in total since the purchase the cap will take off the head of the razer attachment head piece a lot of the time! It's horrible design. The head attachment then gets stuck in the cap and is difficult to take out. Next thing I know, the blade is also gone out of the machine because the head piece keeps getting trapped in the cap when I actually want to use the product. Horrible design, worst product I have ever bought on Amazon. HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND! DO NOT BE LIKE ME. Now I cannot get a refund and it's practically a useless product now after only using it 3 times since purchase. Please learn from my mistake in buying this.

at first it feels a little bare bones at this price point, being that it doesn't come with a case or extra accessories or batteries or anything, just a small brush to clean it with, that said there is a lot to like about this trimmer. The fact that it has a little vacuum compartment that sucks up most of the hair is awesome, it's also super easy to clean out, it's easy to remove the blade if you end up needing to replace it with a new one, it's also easy to open the vacuum compartment when needed, (though it takes a bit of finger dexterity), and because it's washable you can just rinse the inside of the blade area/vaccuum area out with water which is also awesome, in my use with this item I found that it did a really good job of allowing me to pinpoint the specific hairs I wanted to remove, and overall think this is a great item for fine detail shaving work, its awesome for nose hair, but it also works for eyebrows and touch up around the beard and so on. Good purchase overall, especially now that rechargeable AAA batteries are pretty common place, there's no real downside to this item.

If anyone else can get the cap off this thing without spraying parts all over the floor, good luck. Horrendous engineering. I do not use the cap anymore - it went into the garbage. As for the rest - I love it. Two batteries means more power. That's been the worst thing about the smaller ones - no power, and it fades fast. Forever fiddling with batteries. Not so with this one. Fits nicely in my hand, plenty of power, just a garbage cap.
