simple design, but so brilliant
Like everyone else, I just assumed the only way to hang a plate on the wall was one of those metal springy hook devices. Not exactly pretty to look at. This device is so simple that you question how it can possibly work so well, but damn if it isn't the most beautiful little solution. The back is coated with a layer of adhesive. All you do is massage a little water in with your fingertips to reactivate the glue, press it to the back of your plate, wait a day or so for it to adhere, and boom. Invisible plate mount.

Easy to follow instructions
Works just as described. I've always disliked plate hangers but 9 months after painting one at a ceramic shop last fall, I decided to hang it on the walk and came across this. I like the look of the plate on the wall so much, I'm planning on painting another!

My plates are still hanging
Bought these discs some time ago looking for a way to display some pretty plates. These worked exactly as i planned. Be sure to wet with like a teaspoon of water (on this 4 inch one)and smooth around the shiny side. let it get tacky for a while but dont wait too long b/c it will dry up (like mine did!).Sticking on the back of the plate was the hardest part. I wanted to make sure it was hanging straight where the hook needed to go. Wait while the glue dries to the plate before hanging (overnight).Seller - seller sent mine right away and provided instructions - which weren't very helpful so I recapped here. But the price was right and the shipping was fast. Would def buy from her again.

Nice and easy
I first saw this item at a craft store and bought. they only had 1 on the shelf and I had 2 plates at home so was happy to see Amazon offered the item. It is very easy to adhere and hand. I had only cheaper plastic plates though that didn't weigh a lot. I know it is rated for higher weights but if I had an expensive plate, I would probably opt for the traditional plate wall hanger but this was great for my purposes.
