Flys buzzing everywhere, landing on my food and drinks. Landing right in front of me - mocking me, taunting me. They thought they were safe, they thought I had no way to stop them - they couldn't have been more wrong. Once I received my fly annihilator, I took off like Rambo. In the deep jungle of my own house, I went to war - with the Fly King. There were many casualties that day. Not just the fly men - but the fly women, and the fly children too. Not even I was immune, I took some salt that ricochetted off the counter top right to the arm. But nothing was going to slow me down. One after the other, they all fell. Then suddenly, like the coward he is, the Fly King flies out from his hiding place, expecting to make a peace treaty. Unfortunately for him, I wasn't in the mood to talk - BOOM - he goes down just like the rest of them. I walk over to his crash site, the Fly Kings wing still twitching and I said, "Where you going to fly to now?", aimed my salt gun, pulled the trigger, and ended the war right there. Finally, peace ensued over my house. We could eat, drink, and live in peace without fear of anything flying into our ears while we were sleeping and hatching eggs in our brains. Unfortunately, in the midst of that peace, there's a new army growing from two separate nations, an army more malicious and destructive in every way - the spiders and ants. We will need to prepare with even more weaponry for this war. But know this brothers, never give up, never surrender. We fight 'till the last man. War is inevitable - and we must fight! For peace! For safety! For DEMOCRACY!

Holy wow this thing is fun. We bought for our kid who hates bugs in the house. Everyone in the family has taken their turn hunting down those pesky critters because of how much fun it is to use. Very effective too, one blast from halfway across a room will leave the fly on the ground begging for life. Good size, but a little hard to "rack" the slide. Seems to be pretty durable so far as well. May seem like an expensive flyswatter to some, but believe me it brings the ease of killing bugs without having to stalk them around the house like a fly swatter wielding ninja. Now you can be a fly sniper and get them from across the room. Have shot at walls, windows, and all over. No mess left behind and no damage to anything we have shot a fly on yet.

Ever wanted to feel like a starship trooper hunting down and taking out hoards of bugs? My house is in the woods, on the water and I have arachnophobia. We have to deal with flies, mosquitoes and wolf spiders(HUGE ONES) all the time. I’ve never gotten my moneys worth out of any other purchase as much as I have with this thing. 2 years into taking out any critters I find everyday and it still works like it’s brand new! The salt it leaves behind is never an issue even with my dogs but the only issue you may have is finding the bug to clean up after you blast it to smithereens! It’s has power, range, accuracy and reliability and I find myself running across the house to grab it all the time! One of my favorite activities recently has been taking it outside and putting on a headlamp, blasting any bugs(especially spiders) I find crawling on my place in the dark. The value is insane, it’s so durable I drop it sometimes and it’s still fine, and the overall design is very solid. I’m going to purchase a light mount for it to make it all the more fun!

I like this product and have had several opportunities to use it on everything from horse flys to juvenile water bugs. The water bugs are injured, but not killed if they are young enough to be soft winged. Moths disappear and spiders are vulnerable depending on how small they are. Houseflies are killed, but it requires straight shooting.My suggestion to the designers is to make the trigger action resemble a pellet rifle. As it is, It requires enough force to pull the trigger that my aim is is thrown way off. Seriously it would require three fingers to comfortably pull the trigger ( if it were possible to fit them in the trigger guard.) Overall, it is a great product though.I have had the gun four months.

Here in Virginia we have a very serious infestation of spotted lantern flies. My deck is crawling with them and they are fairly tough to kill by swatting them because they're very good at jumping out of the way. However, this Bug A Salt gun is perfect for killing them. Works well on flies too but it's great for lantern flies!

Bought this as sort of a gag gift for Father’s Day but flies and other small bugs don’t stand a chance! I don’t think my partner has put it down since it arrived. The design is sturdy large and looks cool. All in all it was a great gift idea, fun to use, and actually works. Highly recommend for anyone who hates bugs but wants a more entertaining (and less gross) way to get rid of them!

I was skeptical. 3 shots later, I'm convinced and feel like a king. There's a little more salt in my kitchen, by the bug is dead. Missed twice. Third got him when he charged me.1 gram of salt just took 50 million flies out of the population of flies that would bother my grandkids. Heck, I can have grand kids now that I know we won't be overrun with flies.I am king of the flies.
