Exceeded my expectations
I purchased these to use on my gourd projects but ended up using them on my leather cuffs as well. They are much cheaper than the gourd and leather paints and make for a stunning product. They seems like such a small amount but they go far. I made a sunset on a leather cuff by blending three colors with the finger of my latex glove using only a tiny drip of each color then added some birds in the sunset with a tiny brush. So little paint; such a beautiful effect. Everyone that sees it, loves it and asks how I accomplished the look. The paints are awesome! I love the pearlscent quality to them. One word of caution. Don't use the color from the outside of the bottle as a guide to what it will look like on your final project. I always make a color pallet on a piece of leather or whatever I'm working with to see what it will look like in the end. For instance, colors 554 sunset gold looks like a gold color in the bottle and 555 halo pink gold looks like a dark magenta with gold flakes in the bottle but once applied to leather both look like the same color. You have to tilt the leather until you can not see the shin to see any of the pink color of 555 but it's only a slight color difference. Additionally, 572 and 556 both look like a green with gold flakes. Spectacular color on the leather but they look the same. 556 should have some blue in it.Because these are so fantastic for my projects, I'm going to overlook the two colors that come out the same as the others because, I have been able to get by on the 7 colors just fine and I will probably purchase another pack of Jaquard's Halo paints in another color set as soon as I have a project that needs more variation.

Another win
I bought these for a fabric painting class and then later used them to enhance a 1977 quilt pattern. They are washable and worked great.

AWESOME PAINTS, WELL WORTH THE MONEY
What a wonderful surprise. These paints are beautiful. While the bottles are small, a tiny bit goes a very long way. I have a lot of different products, but these were quite impressive because the colors are beautiful, the paint is thick enough to have depth, and it's easy to squeeze just a small amount out of the bottle. You won't be disappointed. I'm using them for mixed media products.

Must have paints
Love, love, love these paints. Such vibrancy and ease of use! Please note that a very small drop goes a long way. I use these in conjunction with my watercolor paints and love the added dimension it gives to the finished project. These are not alcohol inks, as some have said they mistakingly bought them as. They are sure wonderful on a multitude of mediums, glass, wood, rock, paper, etc. You will not be disappointed in purchasing these. Remember, a very small drop goes a long way, so these bottles will last quite a while. Try these, you will love them.

SOME COLORS TOO WATERY TO USE
I had planned to use all of these colors on a cotton tapestry that I tie-dyed, but several of them were way too runny to use. I shook the bottles for quite awhile thinking that I needed to mix them longer, but it didn't make any difference. However, I was pleased with the colors that were thick as they did work well with the stencils I had chosen for the project.

Okay
I like shimmery paints. I wish they gave a better variety of colors. Some were too similar in shades. A bit pricy for such small bottles. If they sit too long without use, you have to shake them. A few were more watery than others.

Exceptional Quality
The first thing I noticed was the bottles were packed in tight air sealed plastic. I hate opening packages like this because you must use the knife to cut through the contents and the packaging is so hard it cuts your fingers. With this package, however, if you pull it slightly from front to back it lifts so you can run a knife along the top edge. A silly thing to point out to most, but ingenious in my mind. The paint itself is of great consistency, packed in plastic, squeezable ink style bottles giving you the option to use directly from the bottle or squeezing out the amount needed into a small dish. The pearlized colors are stunning and quite natural looking with a great amount of luminescence. The blue insert sheet, when unfolded gives you a reference guide to the complete Lumiere Line of colors from which this set is from. There are also some useful tips and directions. It seems that these paints are mostly used for fabrics, however, I use them on glass, clay, and paper. The brightness and coverage are not lost in this application. A non-steam iron is suggested to set the colors on the fabric, so I am assuming the paints will be OK when baked. I will update later. They arrived earlier than stated. Being a Prime member, this is a big plus for a service I already love.I will most definitely be purchasing more products from them in the future.
