Keep scale controlled
These scale inhibitors work great with my well water. They prevent a build up of scale which damages plumbing and fixtures. I have been using this for several years and my fixtures work and look like new. Even the shower heads and aerators stay clean. Great product. I would recommend these if you have minerals in your water.

A cheaper alternative to Aquapure. Not a filter, it is a lime scale preventer
The threading is a bit different on the Waterdrop, but I was able to install it without any leaks. It is meant to prevent lime deposits in the water in a heating system. Contains some type of food grade polyphosphates. I have it only on my heating system part of the plumbing, to protect the heat exchanger and tankless water heater. I expect to replace it less often than a whole house installation, e.g. once per year.

Fit great
This cartridge fit great and appears to work good. The water has the same clarity and taste as with any other brand of cartridge I've used so I would say it works.
