Awesome!!
Let me start by saying I first bought one that was a couple dollars cheaper and it was terrible. It came broken in the package and looked like really cheap plastic. I ordered this one because the reviews were good. This one is fantastic! It came nice and sealed in a box, with instructions (some might say they need them). It looks sturdy. It was easy to put together in a couple of minutes. It holds my 8,5 and 3 lb weights. I also snuck the 2's on top. This was exactly what I needed without having to spend a lot of money, I am happy with the product and I would recommend it for those who do not want to break the bank to have somewhere nice and neat to put their hand weights :)

Cheap and flimsy but good enough
It feels very cheap and light but works just fine for 2 simple dumbbells

Fine for light weights.
Fine for light weights. Although some reviews complained that you just plugged parts together, mine came with screws. I had trouble because the metal was soft and a couple of the heads stripped so, although I got them almost all of the way in, I couldn't turn them all 100% of the way in. I set mine up on a tight berber rug with a firm rubber pad under it. (Pretty firm surface.) I used 3, 5 and 8 lbs weights. It was very light weight and I sensed it was not very sturdy but it was very inexpensive and it was my vacation home where I really just wanted to get things off the floor. When I returned two weeks later, it had toppled on it's own. (The place had been unoccupied). I don't want to flunk it because would definitely work for 2,3 and 5 lb sets. It may have worked for me on a hard surface. It was very similar to one I had once had as part of a Woman's weight kit with the 3 sets of light weights.

Does the job and a good value
When I saw some of the one star reviews for this rack, I was a little concerned on the quality, but for under $9, I thought I’d take a chance. I’m glad I did. First of all I bought this for my wife’s weight set consisting of 3, 5, 8 lb Reebok dumbbells that have square ends and they fit perfectly. Going back to the product itself, as in the pictures, the rack consists of two pieces with 6 rod spacers which are screwed into them to hold it together. The outside edges of the pieces are rounded and give the exterior a nice finished appearance. The inward facing edges are squared off. Some people have commented that you can cut yourself on these edges, we haven’t had an issue with that in the time we have owned it. You really don’t stick your hands down into the rack. Assembly was easy. Just be sure that you align the rods correctly (there is a flat spot that needs to match on the rack) before you start screwing it together. Also be sure to use the right size screwdriver tip or you will risk stripping the heads (just common sense). Once completed, I didn’t have any problems with it sitting flat on the floor. It does what I need and for a good price - I don’t need a gym quality rack and wasn’t expecting one for the price. One thing that could make the rack better would be some cushions or cushioned feet for the bottom of the stand. With the weights on, I was concerned the stand might mar the hardwood floor, so I just put a small towel under it. Doesn’t look as nice opposed to if it had cushioned feet.

Definitely worth the price
Great little stand. Not the strongest or sturdiest item I’ve ever assembled and the screws/holes don’t line up perfectly. But a drill easily solved that, and the stand is holding 70lbs of weight - at least for now. Definitely worth the price.

Works fine!
I always appreciate when people leave reviews, and reading them helped me with this purchase. I hope this, in turn, might benefit others. After reading I knew not to put too much weight on this barbell rack and also that the bottom might scratch floors. I already had felt adhesive, which I use on other items in my home to prevent scratching. I adhered several pieces to the bottom of the barbell rack, which work well. Likewise, I have 1, 3, 5, and 7 pound weights for a grand total of 32 lbs, and after three weeks the rack has been bearing the weight without issues. And I'm hopeful that will remain the case. I find this barbell rack to be a great value.

Thought it was a great deal - got what I paid for!
Flimsy plastic.A lot smaller than it looks.Tips over easily. Most weights are not going to fit on it, and if they do, they're too heavy for it to hold.Pay close attention to the description: "Ideal for pairs of dumbbells of up to 10-pounds." For reference, my 10-pound weights only fit on the bottom rung.On the positive side, if you do want this, it takes all of three minutes to put together. It's not as hard as they make it sound, so don't bother with the "expert installation" if you can wield a screwdriver.

Can't beat it for the price
We have 2, 3, 4, and 5 lbs hand weights and I put ordered two of these and put two pairs on each one. They fit fine and I have no issues with sturdiness. Only took a fee minutes to put together
