Q: How do i get these apart? They seal great, but then they are locked after they get cold.

Not a clue sorry kitchen shaker I really like it. Ice and heavy and seals great you don’t have to kill it to split it when pouring

Q: What strainer works well with this? The oxo is too small.

My julep strainer is a little bit small for these tins, but my Crate & Barrel Boston strainer and my old Boston strainer before that work fine. Well, they WOULD work fine, but I never use these tins. They don't separate easily. I'm talking about needing monster channel-locks or similar. I keep them around for miscellaneous tasks -- but I never use them to shake a drink.

Q: There are two price points, $20 vs $26. They seem like the same product, even the weights. What is the difference?

The $20 set is just for the 2 piece shaker. The $26 set is the 2 piece shaker plus the Hawthorn strainer and a double sided jigger (4 pieces total). The 4 piece set is a better value since a good stainless steel strainer costs about $10 to $15 (and you need the strainer to make cocktails anyways).
