Great value for a 1911 A1. It’s a little lose but that can be fixed easily. The lock engages firmly and unlocks with a push of your index finger. It’s not soft polymer as advertised, it’s more like hard plastic but it works. I will be interested in how much abuse it will take before failing, maybe it won’t but it’s a 17 dollar holster so i expect it will fail in some way. Until then it’s been holding its own. A locking holster for under 20 bucks? Let’s see how it goes.

For the price of this holster, it's a really great deal. I have a Springfield Defender 1911, and it fits perfectly. A few small adjustments to the tension bar and paddle, and I could even conceal with this holster, albeit while wearing a winter coat. There's a little of rattle, but considering it's designed to fit multiple different models of 1911, that's expected.

Perfect fit

Kimber Custom LW 1911 - The holster clips securely to the waistband and belt or just the belt alone. The holster angle adjusts easily and quickly. The firearm clicks into the retention clip smoothly and stays secure. The retention release button is firm enough to feel secure, but not so stiff it makes it difficult to press. The one negative is that this holster is a little roomier than other similar holsters I own for different firearms allowing more rattle noise, but it doesn't seem to interfere with retention.Relative to the price point of the holster, this is a great, lightweight carry solution.

It’s lightweight and attaches to the belt fairly well. Feels good on my hip and I can also rig it for cross draw, issue with the cross straw, and this holster is if you have Dunlap disease, then you might have issues with your pants.

I like the holster overall, but I noticed I was getting scratches on 1 side of the gun, it seems the scratches are coming from the metal nut that holds the belt holder on. I had to grind the nut down so it was thinner than original.
