As a 60yo woman with problem feet and arthritis (and hardwood floors), I have had a nearly impossible time trying to do yoga and other floor exercises, no matter what kind of mat I tried - even using THREE regular yoga mats stacked was not enough to minimize the PAIN I would experience in my feet, knees, hips and spine when trying to do floor work - or anything barefoot.... UNTIL NOW. Since this mat arrived I have been very happily getting through the yoga and other exercise that I have WANTED to be able to do for years! The cushioning is VASTLY superior over my previous system (THREE yoga mats layered) and SO much easier to take out and put away as well! I can finally be barefoot, and can be down on the floor without feeling like I'm being tortured! Excellent mat! I did purchase two, as it is narrower than I would like - but I also didn't want to spend over $100 for a wider one... So two it is!I'm currently waiting for some self-adhesive velcro squares to be able to stick the two mats together more securely. If they don't work, I will sew on some velcro by hand. It would be really nice if the manufacturer would stitch velcro to the sides of these (hooks on one long edge and loops on the other) so I wouldn't have to. :)EDIT TO ADD: My velcro wouldn't stay stuck to the mat, so am trying duct tape to keep the 2 mats together, and it is working great so far. Just be sure to tape them so you can still fold the mat one way. (See pictures) It makes a tall slim folded mat that will.fit, upright, against the wall in my closet.(ignore the little square imprints... I just used the mat before taking pics, and I had a chair on it for some exercises. The imprints go away in a few minutes)

I originally purchased this mat to use at home. After using for a couple years, I purchased the 2nd one to use at another location. The mat works great - very comfortable, and folds up easily for storage. My husband also has 2 (one for home, one for another location). Great purchase!

The media could not be loaded. This mat is absolutely perfect for what I bought it for. I have severe joint issues from years of circus training and extremely hyper-mobile knee-caps so I use it for my at home physical therapy, pilates, HIIT workouts, stretching and just general low-impact floor workouts. I'm generally just trying to lose the weight that I gained after my knee surgery and get back into decent shape even though I wont ever be dancing or tumbling again... though it'd also be nice to get my splits, handstands and back walkovers back just to have as a fun party trick!It has the exact same level of squishy-ness as a new foam-bonded carpet mat would so it's firm enough that I'd feel safe doing handstands and backbends on it but still squishy enough to provide good padding for my bad knees. It also stays in place very well on my wood flooring, though it might slide on a carpet. I'm 5'10 so this mat is exactly the same length as I am tall so if I lie down on it and point my toes, my head and heels are on the mat but my toes are over the edge. Honestly though, for me, this is actually longer than most yoga mats I've encountered and I'm still able to stretch my splits on this mat with no issues.So far I've completed a full week of Chloe Ting's summer shred program on it along with my usual daily stretching and PT so I've gotten up close and personal with every square inch of it (and probably sweated all over every square inch) and I am thoroughly impressed with the quality all over, especially for the price! It's also very easy to clean; I wipe it down with a dry towel, followed by a disinfectant wipe then let it dry before folding it up again and it never takes more than a few minutes to dry. It also stores away nicely against the wall next to where I keep all of my PT equipment.I've attached some pictures of the mat to this review along with a silly video clip of me awkwardly trying to get into my splits with no warm up in time for a 10 second camera countdown, only to realize that I hit the video record button instead of the delayed photograph button.

A good quality mat works great for exercising in the house. The only reason I gave only four stars is that there is some irregularity in the stitching.

Just what i was looking for & needed.Arrived on time/quickly.

This mat was a great buy! I have used it for so many things besides just simply exercising. My nephew used it to kneel on while helping me change a flat tire. I used it when I went camping and forgot a chair so I didn't have to sit in the wet grass. On the beach, it provided a nice comfy spot free from sand for the kids to sit and eat their snacks. I've taken multiple naps on it in place of a cot on vacation. It doesn't take up much room, it's extremely lightweight and easy to carry, yet it still has enough support for your joints whether you are exercising or kneeling. I'm about to buy another as it's just become a staple in my life.

Though this was bigger than I expected (I have a poor sense of dimension - the measurements are in the description), I found it useful. I went on a long car trip and didn’t want to take my whole meditation set with me. I left one fold , er… folded, I sat on the raised area with my crossed legs resting in the single layer in front of me. For me, a perfect meditation seat. I got to sit outside at some lovely rest stops in the woods beside the interstates, and it was also just fine inside. It folds up to a fair-sized block, but it’s pretty easy to stow.
